Heya, hope you've been doing well! If you like both duster/helvetia _and_ Alex G, I highly recommend you check out this side project by one of Duster's members: https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/eiafuawn/birds-in-the-ground/ Its almost scary how closely Eiafuawn sometimes comes to sounding like a Alex G record, eventhough their first LP was released like five year's before Alex's first! (btw: most of helvetia's pre-2010 LPs are also really worth checking out, esp. Acrobats)

  Damn you know your duster! I dig their main releases ofc and Helvetia's compilations but I haven't made it to the deep cuts, I shall soon, bc I dig the hell out of their music (it almost has an outsider music feel to it)... listening to the eiafuawn record atm, and it's definitely Alex G reminiscent down to the lyrics and recording styles. Though it's also partly like a duster album with acoustic/dense instrumentation, if that makes sense?
