"Music you have in common includes The Mountain Goats, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Bob Dylan" Those are some amazing artists! <3

Hi, thanks for your visit, which I've always enjoyed. I'm sure you were lured over by my sudden wild overdose on Dylan, who for some reason I've been playing obsessively recently.

I stumbled on your page, not only do we have super compatibility but the first thing I see on your page is a Black Books picture - so cool!

Hi Bardot Just wanted to say thanks for your recommendations, I'll try and find some of them... but if there's any way you can send me them as Shares so I can add them to my library radio and wait for them to play, that would be even better!

I've been (and will continue to be) overdosing on Dylan but I noticed with delight that you're listening to another of my all-time favourites, Al Stewart, with the wispy voice and the glorious glorious guitaring and amazing lyrics. Try Love Chronicles if you've got half an hour spare! Have you ever heard of Momus, who is a very dark, twisted figure, but an amazing lyricist? Try The Charm Of Innocence to wean you onto him then if you're very broadminded listen to The Angels Are Voyeur with warning stickers!

I'm very openminded and love discovering new music and styles. And if someone like Waits sings in an eccentric and idiosyncratic way I don't just turn it off but think about it and form my opinion. I like Waits' style pretty much. And the percussion on that particular album I found very interesting along with great compositions.

You're welcome, it's always nice to meet people who appreciate the great singer/songwriters, in whom I try to specialise. I hope you enjoy the purity of my radio, which will hopefully contain no-one who strays from the Songwriting Manifesto on my pompous page :-) I love your young Bob avatar, by the way!
