Oh my gosh, it's YOU! It's so lovely to see you in my shoutbox again! *-* Some stuff that's been happening in my life: 1. I graduated from high school and sat my final exams (like Abitur), and my marks are high enough to do practically whatever I like! :D I still miss high school just a little, though! 2. After my exams in November, I travelled to China for the first time. I feel Chinese now :) 3. Early December, I went on a week-long holiday with ten friends to Melbourne to celebrate the end of high school, which was fantastic! 4. Spent Weihnachten with my family on the coast, and celebrated with a Danish family. The lit candles on the tree made me so nervous! 5. I will leave for my year-long exchange to the beautiful Brasil! I will make it to Germany during university, I promise! ^^ 6. This is my Florian (veritas20 and he says to me that your username has something to do with horses. Is it true?! xD Tell me about you, I missed you.. <3

Has the schedule changed yet? :D You're not the only person in the world with a hectic schedule, you know ;) The past couple of weeks have been pretty stressful at school and it isn't going to get better since my yearly exams are in about 4 weeks. These holidays don't look fun.. I must study 0_0 What are you working as these days? Ahaha I couldn't help but laugh when you said " I stand up at 7 AM". I know that Germans say "steh auf" (which you are right, literally means "stand up") to refer to when they WAKE UP in the morning ;) God bless people like you who bring joy to peoples' lives! I hope you find more time to do the things you love. Liebe grüße.

Have some more confidence! How could I ever get bored of SHOUTING in the shoutbox of someone as witty, learned, cultured and pleasant as you? I find myself coming back to this shoutbox to see that gorrrgeous smile of yours :) That was good advice, by the way - "Enjoy all moments all the time". I guess neither of us has all that long to live, so we might as well make the most out of life, which includes RUNNING AWAY TO GREECE :P And about religion - you can't force people to believe if they can't feel the presence of God. But I believe that once you recognise God in your life, it's impossible to shut him out. He has done some pretty amazing things for me and I think it's just good manners to acknowledge him :) Auf Wiedersehen, Ryan ^^ I wish you all the fun in the world in Greece! *hugs to my Deutsche bruder* (I hear Greek women are sehr geil ... so of course you'll have fun XD )

Hey! I've decided to take a break from my History Research Essay studies to talk to you :) Greece! I'm so excited for you! What do you plan to do and see for the next three weeks? You are making me SO JEALOUS! :P Very briefly, the "Nooooooo" was in response to your private message which talked about me not responding and you wishing me luck in the future, which was very morbid indeed. I had every intention to answer you! But I always end up associating a long, drawn-out "noooooooooo" with Star Wars. So don't mind me, that's just me being weird =\

And I have managed to catch up with my sleep! Over World Youth Day (which I was part of!) I only got about 4 hours of sleep everyday, so when it ended on Sunday, I slept for about 24 hours =\ World Youth Day has changed my life - the way I look at life, the way I will live my life in the future.. everything. I fully commit myself to living a life that's right with my God, and to positively influence the people around me through my actions. I can't wait for Madrid 2011 !! Maybe i will see you there too :P So much has happened over the past 2 weeks, but I mustn't tell you everything otherwise you'll be forever reading your shouts XD So, tell me about your life right now. I'm curious! We haven't talked in so long and I miss it :( Hab lieb dich, Ryan. <3.

Noooooooooooooo. Florian, I am your fath-.. no, not that either XD (i don't even like Star Wars =\) Ahhhh! I'm so so so sorrry. I guess the only way I can make it up to you is to actually sit down and answer your shout, but I'm a bit confused =\ I left you a shout on Tuesday but you didn't answer that :9 Oh well ^^ Where to start? Ahh, here we go. The Germans I met were coming for World Youth Day, so they were all aged around 17- 35. And I love adventure holidays, physical activity andscapes(yes, you're right :P) and there was plently of it ;) I thought going with my parents would be really bad, but I had a great time! I still had my brother and the rest of the people on the same tour as us - people from all over the world ^^ I think it could be the last family holiday with all of us together, because my brother may have to move to USA for jobs in Science. So, I'm trying to treasure all these family moments as much as I possibly can.

10 days! It's been way too long! I'll be sure to reply to your last shoutbox message soon (yes, I read my mail!), but I couldn't help laughing when I saw your comment on super_ruben09's page (the guy with some girl squishing her boobs as his last.fm avatar). Ok, i admit - the only reason why I looked at his page was because of the pair of super-distracting, super-huge, jiggling breasts. I'm completely straight (heterosexual), I assure you. I'm just a bit too curious for my own good :9 Bis bald, Auf Wiedersehen Ryannnn <33.

By the way, since when did you like Blink-182? As you can see on my charts, they are one of my favourite bands ever! I think they were my first punk rock band, so lots of good memories ^^ OH! I forgot to tell you! While I was in Alice Springs, I met LOTS of Germans from Stuttgart and surrounding cities(87 of them!) who were touring Australia prior to World Youth Day! It was so exciting and awesome, I practiced my Deutsch on them too XD And everywhere I went in Alice Springs, I always had people yelling at me in German accents, "Hey! It's that girl from Sydney!" There's so much more to tell, but that was one of the highlights of my trip. Looking forward to your reply! I've missed talking to you! Take care, machs gut etc etc <3.

Florrrrrrian, I haven't forgotten about you! Sorry about the very late reply.. :( I went on holidays to Darwin and Alice Springs (Uluru, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta) to see more of my country - you should Google both of these places ^^ I love the outdoors, so my holidays were geeeeiil XD I have a million pictures and I will show you them when I download them onto my PC (tomorrow) because right now I want to DIE because I'm SO TIRED. I went with my family and we camped. It was the best fun! Living in such simple accommodation enhances the outdoor experience and makes you really appreciate the comfort you normally live in, I think :) In English, we say "What did you give him" instead of "What did you donate to him", because "donate" usually refers to giving something to someone who is needy i.e. 1. I DONATED MONEY to a charity. 2. I GAVE my father alcohol for his 50th birthday ;) Du verstehen?

Ohh! Jamiroquai! I still love them ^^ My favourites from Jamiroquai are "Absolutely Flawless", "Runaway" and "Little L". And yours?? Last week was a rather quiet week for me, actually! It's unusual that things aren't quite happening in my life, but on Friday I leave to travel interstate for one week ^^ I've never seen Australian desert before, so I'm really curious! By work, do you mean civil service? I am just like you - reaally tired! My taekwondo teacher was in a bad mood and made us do suicide drills. My body is hurting :( What did you do for your father on his 50th? Right now I like Culcha Candela - Chica (it brings back memories!) Josh Pyke - Sew My Name (great Aussie chillout music) and Daniel Wirtz - Wo ich steh. Makes me wanna mosh ! Bye bye Ryan :)

Ryaaaan! (I'm calling you Ryan from now on, ok? If you don't like it you must tell me as soon as possible!) Oh! So you live with your mum? Or do you spend equal amount of time with both parents? When did they divorce? Very quickly, because I have to go ~ I'll make a point to watch tonight's match on live stream again ;) Praying for sun in Stuttgart for you! About my age - I can't believe I keep forgetting to tell you! Ok. Ten years ago, you would have been twice my age. I will answer your shout in more detail later :)

And yes! I am REALLY REALLY excited about Deutschland vs. Turkey. I think we win win this easily, because I know our team can play well when under pressure. Schweinsteiiiiger <3 !! I love this soccer player, as you can see :P And I know, Turks can be aggressive. I have lots of Turkish friends here XD But I think it will be fun! I doubt things will get violent, as long as people aren't rude to each other :) Take care, StuttgartBruder. Don't start any fights, don't get too drunk, but most of all, make sure you have fun <3

Never would I have thought that someone like you would've had to take a RISK to get good marks! I just assumed that you were smart, since you look like you are intelligent, and you graduated from a gymnasium and the fact you want to be a scientist (very brainy occupation! XD) ! My risk. I used to hate public speaking when I was about 10 or 11, but my teacher encouraged me to take part in competitive debating. And now, debating is a bit like a sport to me. Ever since my first debate since I was 10 against another school, while I was part of team, I've really enjoyed it since! I know that German schools don't have debating as a form of competition - it's an opportunity for me to logically and strategically argue in a formal environment, whilst getting closer to my team mates, who are immensely supportive of me. So that's my risk! Actually getting over my fear of public speaking, and now it's a very big part of my life!

Flllo! I'm not Evy! I'm Em, or Emi :P Oh! Tell me what you did on the weekend, please ^^ I don't think anyone really thinks about their moods as percentages, Flo - it's a bit strange, really. Personally, I don't think there's a *golden ratio* because a person's feelings are their own business, and nothing about a person's feelings is "wrong" or "right" :) But this is what I think. I know that without uniforms, girls in my school would pay more attention dressing up than learning things at school :P My biggest sacrifice? Telling the person I had loved that I couldn't be with him, because our parents hated our relationship. Maybe one day we will be together when our parents approve, but it was for the best, I think - though it was so hard at the time :(

Flo, no one likes people who complain! :P I think it's ok to dislike something, but complaining is not an option if you want to change the situation. Complaining gets people NOWHERE. I think there needs to be a balance, though. People who are always happy seem fake and shallow after a while of knowing them. I tend to find that I can't talk to people that happy all the time, because they can't relate to my problems! And yes. I have a school uniform, which isn't so bad. Maybe soon we'll webcam and I'll show you it XD I think to choose clothes to wear every day would get irritating after a while. I go to school to learn, not to bother about how I look, and school uniform makes everyone look the same anyway! Questions for you. What has been the biggest sacrifice you've ever made? Has there ever been a risk you've taken that was worth taking?

I really look forward to your looooooong shouts :) You're always so interesting and I feel driven to read all the way to the end ^^ Keep it up! How I wished I was in Germany while I was walking to school.. Europeans know how to parrrty ;) I personally think Portugal played terribly last night, and Germany's defence was much better. About travel: I don't think you need so much money to travel! I like to live a little on the wild side - when I went to Japan in the beginning of the year, the trip's cost was around AU$3000 for 4 weeks ^^ Living on the edge makes you appreciate the comforts of your own life even more! Tell me more about Stuttgart, Flo ^^ Is everyone as nice as you? Do they all have great smiles and straight teeth? :D

Oh! How rude of me! I should introduce myself! Hey Flo, I'm Emily, but you can call me Em, or any nickname you can make up for me XD I love a good intellectual argument, I am spontaneous, I love to laugh (but not at the expense of others, I hate this..), I could survive on mangoes and watermelons for the rest of my life and right now, I am wearing odd socks XD And Australia - I love living here in Sydney ^^ This is my home. But I love the excitement of travel, new things and different people ;) And Flo? My days are always beautiful when I am priveleged enough to be talking to such a wonderful person, like yourself :) Oh, and Bullitt1987 is cooool. I'm glad you talk to him! Terpentin is my favourite Böhse Onkelz song ^^ I only have two, though :P Don't worry so much about being wrong. No one has ever been as close as you, though! So I was right XD And remember: it takes a lot to upset me. Like discrimination, agonising pain or really bad circumstances. I'm pretty happy most of the time, though! Nothing you say, especially from such a lovely person like you, could upset me :) Why I said I think you have good attention to detail? Because you are sensitive, and know just the right things to say - I'm not worried anymore! You also have good conversational skills! People that know how to conduct conversations are very aware of the reactions of other people, therefore are very attention to detail :)

My plans? I have so many! Career-wise, I have lots of ideas, but they are all based around people, because I love people =D Some fields I'm interested in are medicine, psychology, public relations, law and journalism. I want to travel, see the world! I'm going through a stage in my life where everything is changing all the time - so I seek my true identity. And that isn't even the beginning of what I have planned for in the future!

Florian.. I like your name ^^ I wonder how old you think I am :S Guess. I bet your guess will be closer than anyone elses! But the thing is Flo, I know my host family won't be terrible. I mean, they choose me! No family would choose someone they think they wouldn't get along with, right? :P And I won't be hanging only with my host family, I'll go to school too :) It's not as if an entire school could be disappointing! I will go to Germany with an open mind ;) And you're not a nerd/geek! I go to a gifted and talented state school, so I think I know what a nerd is, Flo XD You'd make a great info. scientist! You have very good attention to detail, very important in all sciences :)

Hey Flo, what's your real name? I'm glad I've taught you a new word ;) Why shouldn't I expect too much? I don't really expect anything from my host family, just as long as they accept me for who I am :) I'm just a bit worried, because I don't know what to write on my profile! Do you have any good ideas? And I understand your perfectly worded sentences. You should be more confident about your English! Trust me, it's great ;) What plans do you have for the future? What can you see yourself becoming in say.. five years time? I'm interested ^^
