Damn, I suck at checking my shoutbox! I actually tried to find you on facebook but without result. It sounds very exciting, moving to the other side of the world (in your case anyway). No matter what happens it's an experience you won't forget. So England is working out well for you, I presume? By the way, I'm going to New Zealand for a few weeks next April, got any tips or anecdotes? ;)

Saturdays = Youth is completely sublime, I love falling asleep listening to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7R8DeBVBCzM ;) Where have you been? Sure you have a story or two to tell! How come you ended up in Manchester and what are you doing there? I've been good and bad. Have been studying one year of Geography in Stockholm and am right now enjoying the summer before the next semester begins. In two years I'll have my bachelor and then I'll go sailing through Europe. :)

You should visit Wrocław, it is, in my opinion, the most beautiful city in this country. I can be your personal guide! And, if you will be in Kraków, you should see our polish mountains, Tatry. Zakopane, the heart of polish mountains, is near Kraków, so... You have my reccommedation. And you can always visit Poznań, where I now live and study (pretty cool city too) ;)

Clarky in Poland, great! Which part of Poland will you visit? :) April and June are pretty warm, something like 20'c maybe? It dependse, but it's early summer, probably the most beautiful time in this country.

So, in astronomical point of view we have autumn now, but it's very warm autumn (it's 5 degrees Celsius and YES, in Poland, in December it's very warm), I'm still waiting for snow and i hope, that Christmas will be white. You probably never see snow, my dear Clarky! Sad. But I'm also jealous of your australian sun, I need sun and summer. And holidays, especially.

Yeah, I will let you know..... Don't be fooled, Columbus (where I live) usually isn't that great for live music. One of the best venues for smaller to medium sized acts closed down not too long ago. If anything, bands will play in Cleveland, Ohio and skip Columbus all together. I think the one thing we have going for us is a local radio station that is like one of a few remaining stations to remain independently owned. I think they attract some bands to play here. *shrugs*

Oh yeah, Passion Pit has quickly risen to become one of my favorite bands. Pure unabashed electro-pop goodness ;) M83 is playing like 5 minutes form where I live, I cannot wait! I about peed my pants when I saw they were coming.

Hahah, she's moving to Brisbane tomorrow! I'm sure she'll have a blast regardless of the music scene though. Who knows, maybe she'll introduce a few Aussies to some new stuff :)

Going to the Sydney show, and I'm just hoping it's not going to be the same crowd I encountered when I went to see Holy Fuck last month. I was surrounded by people going "I only bought tickets because of the name of the band, I wonder what they sound like?"

You're definitely the only other Aussie on here I've seen with the "high compatibility" thingo. I seem to have high music compatibility with a lot of Brazillians... Anyway, noticing the Of Montreal love, seeing them when they're here in February?

Australia seems to me misterious, because it's so far off and it never tries to show off like most other countries. And yes, there are cangaroos there!!!XD They're very misterious!
