Hah, like I said - when I get paid on time! VR stuff can be interesting, though this project is admittedly pretty dull. I want to be working on games again :( ..and yeah, I know what you mean. Most of my applications never even come back with confirmation of having received my application these days, let alone whether I've been successful in securing an interview or not. I'm scheduled to leave here at the end of March, but I'm not sure where I'm going after that yet :/

Doing some virtual reality stuff for the automotive industry. The job sucks but it (theoretically) pays well - when they pay me on time. I'm out here until the end of March - after that I have no idea! Think you'll get either of the jobs :)?

I've been doing good. Enjoying warmer weather and still skiing. Lately I have been diggin' the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs new album. I discovered a band called Animals as Leaders which is my new favorite music to listen to while skiing. I am also looking forward to the debut album from Bosnian Rainbows, which features former members of the Mars Volta and the singer from Le Butcherettes. How about you? True. I will get out snowboarding this weekend. I am kind of sick of the cold. We had the 3rd coldest January on record this year, and it was brutal. I think we had two days above freezing that month.

It's actually snowing here now, but at least this time of year it won't stay long. The weather here in spring is crazy. Last week we almost hit 70 degrees and today it's snowing and in the 30s.

Here's to spring and warmer weather. How are things on the other side of the pond?

The best was when they used to play Road Kill about 5 years ago, there was a horn on the bar and when it sounded you had 30 seconds to get a free shot of JD, cue that going off midset caused quite a mishap ha. I watched a few Angelspit videos on Youtube, they are quite good; especially love the whole cyber punk asthetic aha. Wearing gas masks to raves is fun but sadly mine doesn't have any funky dreadlocks on it.

Ah yeah they vary quite a lot live, they're always playing Liverpool though; literally a couple of times a month so it's never too hard to catch them. Although I guess you're from Manchester? So a train ride would be annoying ha. Not seen Wolf in a few years now, not even listened to his latest couple of offerings so not sure what they're like; will have to get around to it. What are Angelspit like, really heavy industrial? Been a while since I've listened to some good industrial metal, been swaying to crusty punk of late.

Last.FM fudges up with the compatability bar half the time so I normally have a gander through peoples libraries, have you ever managed to catch Zombina & The Skeletones live? They're always really good. Heh, I guess it is a fairly substantial list, but it looks like you have a few shows coming up too. Patrcik Wolf puts on quite the live performance (:

Ah not enough people listen to Infected Mushroom so I thought I'd say kudos for a great taste in music. Noticed you listen to a few riot grrl bands as well so you might be interested in checking out Sleater-Kinney, a lot of Kathleen Hanna's side projects are good as well such as Julie Ruin.

Kanon Wakeshima is a LOLita, but she actually plays an instrument (the cello) and quite fun if you're in an Alice in Wonderland mood :)
