Thanks for posting all these events in Austin here and elsewhere. Someone needed to do it. I'm always blissfully unaware when a favorite DJ comes into town just because I'd never expect it!

Something like that! The misses was down here from WA for a long weekend, so that was nice. Pretty hectic though! Thursday my car died on the way home from work (alternator shat itself), but I managed to get it to the mechanic that evening. Friday we spent at the beach, then saw a mate's band and got pretty sloshed. Saturday I picked up my car then we drove up to Austin for a wedding. Sunday we got up early and drove to Garner State Park to camp, which was awesome. Mare left on Monday. Now it's back to work to do some major catching up. How was Animal Collective on Friday?!?!? JEALOUS.

ahh, no i didn't. though, it's never a bad thing to spend a weekend in montreal. i'll go sometime this summer i'm sure. such a solid city. did you go??

`Saw your shout on the Mohawk/Field event page. What a bummer indeed. What's worse for me is that I usually come early to see openers, but I'd seen The Juan Maclean twice in the fall already and opted to for an evening swim at Barton Springs over showing up early, figuring John would be opening that for Axel. Oh well. You live and learn. Not gonna make that mistake again anytime soon.
