The Maccabees were dreadful, but going downstairs to Sunshine Underground was an equally bad option aha. Gareth is a bit of a pretentious so and so don't you think? I think Final Fantasy played the same night as Múm so I never got to see them last time around, and I wasn't keen on Owens new album so didn't bother with this tour. Never understoood the massive love some people have for LC, just seem a typical mid level indie band to me :\

Fionn Regans playing here soon, you can get a taste of the homeland ;D February was a so so gig. Gareth annoyed me to no end, I preferred their 2007 iteration before that girl left, and they only had their old material to play. Not so keen on the new stuff really. You still have to travel to Manchester for most of the better bands, Liverpool gets left out a lot of the time );

You can jazz them up a bit, try and play through Super Mario or Tetris on a projected screen while still managing your gameboys is quite the challenge ;D they happen occasionally in Liverpool, I'll give you a shout next time one is on. Ahh I hope it isn't a let down then! I'm going to a gig in the Williamson Tunnels on Saturday, never seen anyone play there before, definitely one of the most interesting venues I can think of ha.

I saw them in small academys, crowd was mostly rubbish nu ravers but the atmosphere was really great, lots of energy. Ahh good for her, takes a lot of time and effort to even put one song together. It's always such a challenge to do a chiptune gig as well to stop it from being drab, takes a good performer :D Add away, the more the merrier.

CCs new album isn't anything like their old stuff. Far less screamy and chiptuney, more mellow and ambient sound. I love their live gigs as well, oops. I used to dabble in the chip tune scene myself, made a few songs. Still got all my pimped up gameboys and the like as well (: Do you hate them because of that one uncredited chiptune song they used? I am soup because soup is good, or more importantly, Andy Warhol who drew said soup is good, amazing in fact.

You'll be converted soon enough ;D Have you tried any of Conors solo stuff or just stuck with Bright Eyes? His S/T and Desaparecidos are great. I've been getting caught up in the new Crystal Castles and LCD Soundsytem albums lately

Not really a Maccabees fan myself, might vamoose before they come on. Ha, I think we still have one berth spare if you didn't mind going with internet paedos. I'm sure you could bully a poor vulnerable friend into getting a 2 berth with you anyway, I mean it's B&S! All the other bands are just extras anyway.

Simon's new album Out In The Snow is really worth checking out if you get a moment. Guess you're going The Maccabees mostly for Los Campesinos then? Are you going to ATP: Presented by Belle & Sebastian? I can't wait for it, hope the rest of the announcements are up too par.

As would I. The one I had yesterday was my first ever, and I think I've developed a taste for them now. Can't say I've ever had steak at a BBQ, or that I'm a fan of steak in general tbh. Cool :) I've never been to a gig outside of England, the furthest I've been is like Leeds lol
