Hey dude, ive racked my brains trying to think of what album you could mean but 'Sven' doesnt spark any memories.. I do remember telling you guys to check out the Lars Leonhard album '1549' which is dubtech-ish and actually has a yellow/orange album cover.. Could it be that?

Wow, the new Will Haven is heavy. Pretty big departure from the stuff I'm used to (on a first listen anyway). Seems way more sinister and serious - El Diablo comes off as lighthearted, to me anyway.

Yeah, I really like Liturgy too. I know some purists slam the "hipster black metal," but fuck those guys. I love reading some good comics and blaring Liturgy - it just makes sense.

Gotta say congrats on posting that "Isolation Songs" of Ghost Brigade. I listen to that album for 2 years and I still like everything when I put it on play. I see that you've already enjoyed (as me) Sepultura's album. I find it to be quite of an excellent quality that I didn't expect to come out, but, then again, I didn't expect anything good from Soulfly either and yet I've seen a crazy good concert last year. It's always a pleasure when at least expecting something, the end result be at the high grounds, at least on my side. Cheers, mate!

Mhm, the new Primordial it's something unexpectedly great. After listening to all their albums for some time, I would've expected to hear something rather equal in sound/composition, but everything is to the contrary. My fav album is " Storm Before Calm", but you may start with "The Gathering Wilderness", as well. The thing is, when they were recommended to me, I wasn't impressed by anything of Primordial's; it took me several listens to each and every album to actually get into their sound and it's not only about the sound, as it is, in part, of the lyrics. Anyway, when you feel like it, pick a random album and start with it; there's no better recommendation rather than your own taste. P.S. I didn't listen to the last album until the day of the concert, when I've take it and listened to it, after the concert for 4 times - and, yes, as many say: excellent.

Aye, mate. Gotta say that I'm extremely hooked on that album and "Cold Sun" is an addiction that I'll hardly get rid of. (Re)Fine(d) sound all around and one of the latest favorites. Glad to hear The Traveller is opening up, you've been persistent with that one. Soon it will coarse through your autobahn veins like your very blood :D I have Berghain 02, I'm not sure what I think of it yet but it did not blow me away. I'd have to give it some more listens to posit a serious opinion, but I just remember it as devoid of any good melodies. Perhaps it has some subtle production I missed the first time around.

Oh im a massive fan of Pole 123, especially 3 which i really love.. I think if you view those albums from more of an ambient perspective rather than dub-techno they are easier to get a hold on.

Thanks for your help! I don't listen to much that could be considered 'heavy' these days, but I thought I might like to give Cult of Luna a chance as they struck me as maybe sort of similar to Isis, with whom I was definitely in love back in the day.
