I agree. It seems that one of the few things that tie the albums together is Thom Yorke's voice which is pretty distinguishable, but even that is masterfully used to reflect the music.

..Ok Computer or Kid A when they think of a Radiohead album.

I think that In Rainbows has a quieter, more mature atmosphere to it. It doesn't have the desperation of Pablo Honey, the angst of The Bends, or the anxiety of Ok Computer. It isn't as completely different as Kid A either, or as politically straight forward as Hail to the Thief. It reminds me of Amnesiac in a way, an album which I love but seems a bit ignored. People usually go for The Bends, Ok C

I want the discbox too! I really adore the album. It's interesting how loads of these songs have developed over time.
