Yeah, time does fly. I feel you on life taking a chaotic direction, mine very recently calmed the hell down. For now, haha. Ive been very lackadaisical on finding new artists, in fact my most recent discovery was a one man band who has been around for awhile. He's a Russian chap who goes by the moniker Nemertines. Pretty heavy stuff.

yeah man. i gotta say ive been on Xerath more as of late and II is starting to grow on me more and more. i would actually start to say im liking II over I, it just sounds like a more honed album. allover more matured sound. and i recommend this track at http://hypno5e.bandcamp.com/ finally, what do you know of Cruentus?

i always go in with the "i hope its good, but dont need to try to put it too high up there" but i fail in the end. but ive given up just about with the big names. Chevelle new album, horrid. Lacuna Coil new album, putrid. Lamb of God new album, pathetic, wasted, soulless, compromised. (pardon the pun). still got New Fear Factory album too, which at this point im sure will be pure garbage. man, old great bands are just failing these days.

eh, im looking forward to the new Meshuggah album (as well as the God Forbid album coming 2 days prior) but it doesnt sound like their best work.....which leaves me sad. i had high hopes for Koloss. but let me know when you get around to looking up Nociceptor, im curious to hear your thoughts on them.

new Vildhjarta out soon! and the new Animals as Leaders album is semi-okay. finally, this dude, The Algorithm, has a weird style of music. it's like, Electronica spliced with Djent. has an odd sound, but i kina enjoy some of it.

yes, i see. done and done. anyway, i recommend GIAA's All is Violent, All is Bright album. Suicide by Star is a good one, as well as All is Violent, All is Bright. uh, i heard Hord is back in the studio. i talked to their drummer, i think it was, on facebook.

indeed my friend. uh, im just now getting into this, but you seem like an intellectual type, this project Symphony of Science (or Colorpulse) has taken the worlds greatest minds (Hawking, Sagan) speaking of the universe, edited with autotune and put really ambient music behind it. check it out if you want: http://www.symphonyofscience.com/

ah, there was nothing to the fight dude. all it was was i said i like SB, but what kept me from really liking them was their vocalists "rap-like" vocals. i AM NOT saying he raps, im saying the pausing he does constantly in songs on Catatonic made it seem "rap-like". you get what i mean? anyway, these 2 hardcore fans just jumped in and decided to flame my ass off. i got sick of it and deleted the post.

lol, i have to search pretty hard, and honestly some of my bands come from youtube. i will watch a guys playlist of certain things (like "heavy breakdowns" for instance). i dont think Laments of Silence is listed under similar artist with HORD. i just happened to hear Laments vocalist and immediately thought HORD, which is why i said if you like them......ah forget it. im getting myself tongue tied and im not even talking. anyway, MANOWAR???? fucking Manowar man?!?! lololololol i had a good laugh at that. no disrespect intended. i just really do not like them. at all. and i listened to Balance of Power and thought it was a pretty good performance. :) finally, i didnt know you were in contact CONTACT with SB. i only figured you were just, the leader of their fan club or something. lol jk man, jk jk. :p ive talked with their drummer or someone off facebook and had a very heated debate with a couple diehard fans over SB's vocalist while on there, so i tend to stay away from the page.

Ah Joel. pleasure to hear from ya. yeah dude, the 2 songs i did download by Biomechanical have kinda grown on me. the only thing that really keeps me at bay with this band is the Rob Halford style vocals. i was never a big Priest fan. Eight Moons is epic though, i'll say that much. lovin the orchestra and the spoken word parts. anyway, i heard the other day North America has a set date for Synthetic Breed's new dual album "Convergence". contains both Catatonic and PMM and some nifty album art previously unreleased. if it somehow manages to find its way over in my territory im going to pick it up. oh dude, i found a band you may like if you like HORD. Laments of Silence is a Cyber Metal group out of Spain with some kickass soundscapes and extremely clean chorus's. they have their album on mediafire if you want it.

No problem, my friend. I just want to help them get some exposure, but I'm not in the know. I don't know how the industry works, but they could use the support. I'm surprised that Century Media doesn't sign bands from Australia. How odd.

Thanks, mate! I'll be happy to spread the word. They just got to get some better representation. I'm surprised Sumerian didn't pick up on them the first time. They'd get so much recognition on that label or Nuclear Blast. Did they try Century Media? Century Media signed Vildhjarta recently, so it shouldn't be out of the question for them to find promise in Synthetic Breed.

Wait! It's possible to buy Synthetic Breed merchandise? I've never tried to look for any, but the prospect came to me as impractical because they're virtually unknown outside of their niche crowd. You know where they sell their merch? >:)

Yeah, they really suck at updating, even after their hiatus. Even the slightest update is better than nothing. Many bands are really good at this and makes fans part of the band community, especially on Facebook, as MySpace is kinda dead. Hopefully there will be some updates when the PMM tour has started, but there must be som live footage from some concert to show off! I'm dying to see Daniel play some of the new tracks! :D

Well, I haven't clicked with a metal band like this since I found Synthetic Breed, honestly. That's why :D I can't get enough, it's the perfect blend of heavy down tuned riffing and industrial sound scapes, all instrumental! It's insane and all I ever wanted. Seven albums and two EP's just waiting for me! So that explains the 400 plays in ten days ;)

glad to hear back from ya! i did enjoy The Interbeing's new album as well. but the rerecorded versions of their EP songs didnt quite live up to the quality the EP had. the songs were much darker and heavier on the EP, imo. but Swallowing White Light and Shadow Drift are instant favs. im glad you like Andromeda. i was shocked to see they had a new song. the last i listened to them is when Zombie_Alive gave me their download link for their album. but it sounds nothing like Andromeda. Xerath's II is so far really good. i cant wait to hear the rest of the album. :D
