yesss so on board with you being back on the pipeline AAA i really recommend his blackalachia project, you can watch the whole thing on youtube it’s so lovely and beautiful and majestic and WOO just really good LOL and speaking of warm hugs! an album that makes me feel like that every single listen is circles by mac miller :0 i would love to hear your thoughts on it if it interests you, it’s a project accompanied by the album swimming but circles alone is amazing, swimming just adds to the experience “swimming in circles” aw that’s so sweet, i had a similar experience with his mv for polly, rewatched and sobbed at it so much… the absolute CRAVE for a monogamous love that is unrequited is portrayed so well and the lyricism in general is 👌 i listened to debut! it was so interesting, venus as a boy and there’s more to life than this really captured me, i felt so entranced while listening, her love is so beautiful and the anchor song felt like the perfect send-off to end the album with :)

rep folklore and evermore are my top 3 fav taylor albums so i definitely will get into this REAL QUICK.. im glad ur listening to reputation its quite insane and life changing. folklore and evermore are sister albums :D theyre very connected.. its kinda hard to put it into words i think youll get it once you listen to both of them one day, but folklore and evermore are very similar yet so different.. folklore is very summery and evermore is like a cold winter. evermore songs feel like a more mature and older version of folklore songs idk its hard to explain but theyre both amazing. theres also songs on both albums that have little connections to each other and stuff like that. a thousand times thank you for recommending it btw! it was truly such a great experience 🤍 i listened to reputation and home video yesterday! reputation was soo interesting, ready for it? had me conflicted about what the rest of the album was gonna make me feel but! the first half was truly so good, like end game?! i still have don’t blame me stuck in my head rn haha the second half i had mixed feelings about but really liked dancing with our hands tied and new year’s day of it! new year’s day really felt like the end of a new year’s party/the album; everyone cleaning up ready to go but also still reeling about the experiences that conspired right before 👌 the biggest stint(?) i had with it i suppose was that i couldn’t imagine that extreme love she feels for them i think 🤔 like king of my heart, i couldn’t understand that type of love :( might just be more of a personal thing though.. but a pretty nice album! ariana suggested i listened to folklore next so that shall be!

and finally home video!! didn’t plan to have a shout for each album but it feels apt haha my oh my that album was also such a treasure, there’s a shout on lucy’s artist page that says “her voice is so deep ruby purple” and i totally agreed especially on this album! it didn’t hit as hard emotionally but maaan thumbs did a number on me.. and the occasional funny lyrics here and there make the tone such a nice mix of light hearted and gut wrenching :0 faves: christine and triple dog dare! but honorable mentions: every other track LOL the imagery in this album is so nice too, you can soso feel the teen romance and coming of age really well, i think especially in triple dog dare which was such a nice end, encompassing like every theme she tackled? queer romance, the issues that comes with that living in a christian household/community, the what ifs, THE GOOD MUSIC!! and the last line is so mm i would love to submerge myself in every piece of work she’s ever created :,) THANK YOU AGAIN! muah

OH MY GODDDDD !!! im so happy you loved historian !!!! and oh boy... ready for it is such a jarring start to an album LOLL but i love it!! taylor described reputation as a bait and switch album lmfao because it starts out so .... brash ? and loud ? and turns into a quiet little love story <3 which is beautiful but very detrimental to ME!!!! but i digress... folklore is like universally her most beloved album so i have high hopes that you'll find some songs you like on that one 😊 and omg home video!!!! its true... such a sweet album to listen to and then all of the sudden thumbs comes from out of nowhere and genuinely makes me sick to my stomach 😭 i don't think theres a single other song in the world that is as viscerally painful to me as thumbs is omfg. omgg if you wanna get more into their music i highly rec their album 'Heaven To A Tortured Mind' its a great place to start. It was the album that made me fall in love with their music and took over my life haha. If you like more ambient music, their older stuff like 'When Man Fails You' and 'Serpent Music' are just that. 'Safe In The Hands Of Love' is another really good place to start, there are so many great tracks on it. i feel as if it's a mix between their earlier more ambient stuff and their more recent stuff like HTATM. There's a lot of gems, so if you'd like i would honestly suggest taking time to listen to their whole discog at some point and see what you like >.<
