I'm from Annapolis and I'm going to school in College Park right now. I'd probably say Unorthodox is my favorite and Pentagram too but they're from DC. I haven't been to too many show lately... Motorhead in DC last month and Judas Priest over the summer. I'm actually putting on a show on the 21st with Deceased, Sacred Oath, and Pale Divine. That's going to kick ass.

I've seen your shouts on a lot of the Maryland Doom band pages. So, "hello" from a fellow MD native! Great bands from around here.

Hi, friend :) Dub evolved from reggae in the 60's and 70's. It was introduced by Lee "scratch" Perry and King Tubby, who are considered the pioneers. They took existing recordings, removed the vocals and emphasized the drum and base parts and usually added reverb, echo and sometimes incorporated new vocals. Lots of bands still do it today... (Sublime), Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, The Expendables, well basically any of the new-reggae "Cali style" bands. Check out my friend's band, Tomorrow's Bad Seeds, you might like them because some of their songs have a rock/reggae style. What's your favorite band?

Hi Brett ;) Sorry for the late reply. Born Too Late was great! I got to meet most of the bands too! My favorites were Argus and Pale Divine. But they were all very good. Revelation probably had the biggest crowd, I saw most of them but then had to step out because it was a very small room, and a very hot day! Lots of fun though... hopefully there'll be a doom fest 3.

Came across your profile...somehow? Anyway, after reading about you, I wanted to say hello. I'm from FL, have been to TX a few times and have lived in CA. I've got to say that if you have the cash, move to CA - it's a great place to live! The people there are so cool, no one gives a shit what you do, who you are or what you're about! Everyone works hard and plays harder. I wish I still lived there, but the rent is out of control! Do you miss Florida? Next best thing to Cali :)

We are all the cool fans ;) All stoner friends are cool no matter where they are. And yeah many good bands touring here but several artists don't tour here. Clutch for example doesn't jump often over the big sea... So I need to visit them in the states :)

Hey Brett nice to meet you :) And our music scene is a bad joke against yours... we got a hand full of good musicians and the rest is pretty.... random. However thanks too for friendship ;)
