It's my first New Year on last.fm, haha. yeah it was fun I stayed up playing games with my best friend and taking random photos and watching all the drunk people do funny stuff. how was your New Years?

I mean I grew up with Harry Potter, so yeah, I really love it. I'm not a crazy fangirl, haha. I had to wait a week after it came out to watch it, but it was worth it. :) I'm one of those people that says that a book is always better than the movie. I recommend you read the second part of the book, because i think you might be a little lost. I'm not really looking for any specific type of international literature, I guess I'm just open minded to anything.

Portuguese just seem like a very cool language. It's similar to Spanish but some of the vowels are sooo different. No, I have never heard of Los Hermanos. I just previewed that song, and I like it. :) Well right now I'm supposed to be reading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, it's an alright book. I just can't wait til next year because that's when we read foreign literature. Talking about books, I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd, so yeah...haha.

That's pretty cool. I really want to learn Portuguese ever since I read Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card, have you read any of his books. If you like science fiction you'll love Card's Ender Series. :)

yes, Crystal Castles are Canadian. :) I am fluent in Spanish and I'm taking a literature class in my high school just to learn a little more. I had to watch an online broadcast of the eclipse because it was too cloudy to watch it here. Yes California is beautiful, I'm thinking about going to San Francisco State University to study right after high school. :)

oh and I forgot to add. If you love Mediterranean climate, then you'll love San Diego, Ca. :)

I also enjoy listening to Arcade Fire. Other Canadian bands I like are Metric, Reverie Sound Revue, Broken Social Scene, and Tegan and Sara. You've been to lots of places, that's good. I am hopefully going to get to go to Mexico again next summer. Were you able to view the lunar eclipse?

Yes, Mexico is really beautiful. We always go during the winter(but not this year) the people decorate it so beautifully. Yeah, I have been to different parts of the US, Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, Texas. i still need to go to Vegas though....haha. I have this strange urge to go visit Canada, it might be that a few bands i like are from there. What places in Europe have you been to?

Well they can seem scary. Right now they're covered in snow. Which is really pretty. I went to San Diego and went to the top of Mt Helix, it was a really beautiful view, but it was scary as hell. haha. The only place I have been to out of the country is Mexico.

Well, mountains are not that bad, it gets really beautiful in the spring. Yes, that's the reason I loved that cover, it was so well done. I generally don't like covers but that one was an exception. Even if i stay away from anything dangerous, something always seems to happen, damn my clumsiness! :)

no surf rock scene. It wouldn't be good for me to go near the rocks, I'd probably fall and hit myself....haha. yeah, that's true. I never really go to the mountains. but hopefully this December I will. Where in the north of Germany do you live in?

not even, i live next to the mountains, stuck inside the valley. the beach is like 2 hours away. :O

i guess i like snow cause i've only seen it once, so yeah...i get enough sunny weather in the summer, it gets so hot. but in the winter it gets pretty cold, and we get snow up in the mountains. but i never get to go up there. :/

well, We have summer, then winter. it doesn't really get to be spring or fall. right now it's okay. Lucky! you get snow. we've only ha snow here once, when i was four.

yeah, but it's still kind of disappointing that not that many people here where i live don't know them because they are one of the greatest bands ever. :)
