Hey Polly! No, sorry, but I wasn't there last Friday. So how was the gig? Did you get lots of nice pics done? Or were you just having fun and enjoying yourself? Think I've only missed two London shows ever since I've known them and this was one of those. But hopefully I'll see you in Feb for their next Water Rats gig. Hi Polly, massively delayted response, I know! I'm pretty new to this but really getting into using it now. I'm surprised just how crappy our musical compatibility is at the moment but I suspect it will inprove once I up my listening count a bit more!

Hah. I think WKAP is the only disk I've NOT had a naughty copy of. I've been listening to the Youtube vids I downloaded, and I love those best, really. I can understand with Yes, Virginia - They're not the best they've done, but I quite like a few of the songs, I guess. Somehow they lack energy for some of them. With What's the Use of Wond'rin, I think it's more the vocal style. I do choir and sing high, slow tunes, but I just didn't feel it fit her, or whomever it was singing some of it properly! She doesn't have the vocal scope for that style, in my opinion. The other songs though have grown on me a bit after re-listening. =]

Aaw thanks. And I don't think I can. Starting uni at Lancaster in october which is a bit of a long way - it was expensive even from where I am now! I might be able to go in either Sheffield or Manchester if I find out close enough but far enough from the date whether I can go!

He did a one off show (well, as far as I know it was a one off) and it was very good.
