I had a pretty awful birthday actually. :( My bag was stolen by a dodgy faux-taxi driver which meant goodbye $350, phone, makeup, ID, bankcard etc... Lame. :/ I'm glad your birthday was better than mine!

Yep well both kinda... I went to America for my gap year so I'm Leavers '07. Sorry I didn't end up getting to come out on Friday. Dave and I were getting all ready and had been drinking at mine beforehand, before realising he forgot his good shoes and only had thongs. :/ And then we were stuck home due to alcoholness. Bleh. Anyway, we'll catch up soon once I get my 3rd ID aarrrghh!

Ahhh yes well, 19 is a weird year because you're over the "18 year old mania" but not yet out of your teen years. I'm looking forward to being 20! A lot of my closest friends are in their mid to late 20s, so being the only teen is kinda lame. We have to go to Amps on Friday so I can go while I'm still in my teens.

haha well...that might be a bit difficult cause you seem to like a pretty large variety, but i will say that you'll probably like mike kinsella's other related acts (joan of arc, cap'n jazz, etc.) and although bright eyes lacks similar instrumentation as owen, the lyrical content is pretty congruent (alcohol, women)...def worth a check.

I've actually never gone to Amps before, even though I've supposed to a bunch of times. Lately I've ended up at the Oak & Ivy a fair amount on Wednesdays, but I haven't really gone out to clubs/bars that much recently!
