Bertus Eksteen’s journey into medicine began with a deep interest in understanding how the human body fights disease. He was born and raised in South Africa, where he completed his MBChB at the University of Pretoria in 1996. His passion for expanding his knowledge led him to study abroad, earning a membership in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in London in 1998.
