This is a new conspiracy theory, but I can't figure out why Willgregg10 is on every profile I click. But the goddamn CIA or Mossad agent most likely.

I’m doing something right then. Always looking for a reply to read and entertain myself with at work and write them when I’m bored.

Hi - you have a great library too! In terms of Wolf Alice I think Blue Weekend is their best labum overall. I really like a couple songs from their first album too, Bros and Moaning Lisa Smile. I started listening to Counting Crows recently (August.. only).. what should I listen to next - their faster songs in particular really grab me (Rain King, Mr Jones) Recommendations - bit niche but this nice little jangly aussie band called Quivers - they released an album cover of Out of Time and have a couple of really nice songs of their own. Have you ever listened to The War on Drugs? Do you have any recommendations?

I noticed just in time. DT1990 Pro headphones arrived today and it's a wonderful benchmark...

Yeah they all group nicely, catalogues for keeping track of things. I dunno but I find it calming to note down each movie or show I've seen and it does end up helping find new stuff. You must be the same with your bio now! It doesn't quite beat old Last FM, my 'about me' was kitted out pretty heavily. I had custom fit artwork and song lyrics, et al. Even just BBCode support and text formatting would be a great addition again, if inline images are 'problematic'. Also you have Vollenweider in your tour dates? I cannot describe how jealous I am! I really wish I could see him too but as time goes on it's ever unlikely...

Hi. Seems you are a bit of a Crows fan. I haven't listened to their music for quite some time, but I will give them a spin. Seen them live end of the 90s. I was surprised that the live versions of their songs are quite different from the album versions. (Didn't like it that much back then.)

Give a listen to the band Drive Like Maria. Dutch band. Three great albums. I think I like Jimmy Eat World's more pop-punk side. LOVED Bleed American. I think you're right, Surviving seems to be more in that vein.

You posted on my Jimmy Eat World comment. Pleased to 'meet' you! It says we both like Feeder. Curious if you have heard Tallulah? If so, what did you think of it. Have to check out some of your artists I'm not familiar with. Take care and I will give another listen to Integrity Blues.

Hello, hi, I wanted not just say hi but also thank you for sharing me that piece of news, I completely gave up on that album and right now I'm searching it. I remember while seeing that Yellowstone thing and thinking "Man, I wish I could just sit and listen to this music on a clear night" and you just made my wish came true. Thank you, have a nice day.

About Vollenweider... I suppose it's the way his music has a magical or otherworldly sound to it, plus his heavy use of (sometimes cheesy) synth that reminds me of video game music. ;) If you like Andreas' more folksy sounding tracks, I would recommend vgm composer Yasunori Mitsuda, particularly his ost for "Kirite" and a handful of tracks from Chrono Cross. But usually the similarity in general doesn't go beyond "oh, I've heard that same synth-y flute in such-and-such vgm!" ^^ As for other harpists, I only know of Cécile Corbel and Loreena McKennitt (both wonderful). I did check out the Yo Yo Ma album you mentioned, and I will do the same for the others -- thanks a lot! Could always use some more instrumental stuff ^^

Hehe, it's all in good fun. His album covers and artist pics are admittedly easy targets (I think even I laughed at Behind the Gardens when I first saw it ;)), but his talent is undeniable. I'd *love* to find more music like Andreas' (some video game soundtracks come close), but I suspect his sound might be one of a kind... Would you happen to know of anything similar? Any recommendations? :D

I blame Broadchurch for my Olafur phase. The theme song to that show was one of the most involving pieces of music I have heard in a long time. Also it used a Viola as the solo instrument, which made me smile as a Violist. Post-grad stuff?? What is your masters thesis on then? Are you going to become one of these eternal students ;)

Hey! Yeah, that sounds great! :P If you can give me a link to that playlist with the Stewart Copeland soundalikes, that'd be wonderful! ^_^ There is an artist I've been told is similar, um - I Am Robot and Proud, if you've heard any of that, either. :)

Hiya! Wow, I'm glad my music post got through to someone! I'm sure you've read up on them, but they're very Weezer-Foo Fighters-esque, and I love them for it. Really good music for this time of year. Hope you're keeping well!

I've seen Patty a couple of times at big festivals but I think I liked her better stripped down with just the two guitars. Good times.

Well thank you! Looks like I'm not the only one who has my priorities sorted out. Looks like you're right next to me on that one! Landing is a splendid band. I would recommend their album sphere! Efterklang is on my repeat list right now..theyre song prey and predator is a pretty radical one. Lights Out Aisa with my favorite song, Psiu! Puxa! and their album Garmonia. And if you have your eye on IDM..Boards of Canada is a pretty sweet one! Is there anything you can recommend as well? :D
