Nice one, Becca. Consider it downloaded. Will give it a good listen over the weekend - currently listening to the new Goat album which is also fab.

Brides in the Bath, though - right? Right?!

That's right! She's unique! I love her.

Yma Sumac! :)

Well, you look nowt like him, Bill!

Not a problem! Also getting into Oh No! Yoko as well if you don't know them already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYpnlf1qVo0

The new Bob Mould album is really rather good, and doesn't sound like a 51 year old man moaning about stuff. Recommended, it is.

I hope you like it, I used to work in a record shop and in it there was a complete divide between Scarlett fans (namely me) and Waits fans (namely, everyone else, ever) but on merit I think it's a great album.

Hiya, just want to say you should check out Scarlett Johansson's album of Tom Waits covers, controversially I think it's better than Tom Waits itself.

It's so true. One day these unscrupulous music architects will be brought to justice. I'm just thankful that my house was built in 1859, so it's fairly steady. Not like all those Syd Barrett homes.

I tried building a small village on UK Garage but it was doomed from the start. People kept shouting 'bo' and everything fell down.

God has a lot to answer for then. Earthquakes, floods, that band...

It would be genius... if only all four of them were playing the same song, the lead singer could sing, and they were approximately 98% less weaselly. Other than that, I wholeheartedly agree.

I'd be careful, a crack about princess Diana and the daily express might start phone hacking you. :-)

Je ne comprends pas le 'caw caw'. Je suis un fucking idiot.

Bora Da, nice music library. I was just wondering if Y Niwl are a better live band than they are on record?

If this was Facebook, I'd totally do a thumbs up thing to your musical choices today :D

I was listening to that mad live in San Francisco album. You get an interesting mixture of James Hetfield's growly voice singing over load of cellos. But you're right, I should have a listen of Bastard of Puppets cos I've not heard it in ages and it might be fun.

Tiny tiny, tiny boots of leather.

You're never too short to have an opinion, as the late great Sir Ronnie Corbett once said. I expect.

That's all fine then. And Bikini Kill are a bit rubbish. They're no L7.

Everyone's ganging up on me! Waah.

You're goddamn right it is. Praised be his name.

Thanks for the add

Thanks! A good list of new stuff to check out there :) ermmmm you could try Absent Friends by The Divine Comedy, Gypsy Cowboy by New Riders of the Purple Sage, Thought Becomes Reality by Circulus or check out my Roots of Nirvana playlist. You might like some!

Thanks, you got any album or artist recommendations? :)

great taste my friend!

'Ere, I don't know if you've noticed like, but you listen to songs that are in Welsh a lot. Just thought I'd mention it. You're croeso. Ah-hah-aha-a. x

How'd I manage that then? TBH, I've not looked at it since I started it. Has it finished or something? xxx

I've just got rid of the two bands no-ones's heard of and swapped them for famous ones and it's still really crap :P x

My lineup is right sad, I'm permanently stuck in 1996 I think :D xx

By the way, I've no idea what that festival thing is or how it works but it might be fun anyway x

Are you on Sony's Fantasy Festival yet? http://fantasyfestival.last.fm/invite/?key=985fd850133e54e14af53054e19738d3&r=beccastinks

Ah, well now that makes much more sense than my theory. I think grasshopper ears are on their sides not their knees. I used a very old sandwich toaster today and I suspect it has made me go peculiar from the electric shocks it was sending out like waves of malevolence. Mmmmm cheesy though.

I'm a tiny bit baffled about how you've listened to 2000 songs since tuesday. How many ears do you have? Do you have extra ones on your knees like a grasshopper? I may have made that up actually...

Well hello there possum SFA OK :-)

lmao at your current song choice, a-ha-ha-ha. Step away from the carefully designed topless racehorse.

Waheeeey! I have two friends! I'm so durn popular now :D
