Hi there. On the 2011 reissue of the Connan Mockasin album, there is a live CD which features a (presumably) recent recording of the band performing Sneaky Sneaky Dogfriend. I know it's probably not a recurring thing or as much of a rememberance of their old material as you or I would have hoped, but it's something! Hope that satisfies your curiosity somewhat.

I guess I'm a real fan. I really like it. The new album is astonishing: there's less keyboard to make way to guitars and drums, also compostitons are longer than the ones on the first album. I think you gonna love "Elise"( a masterpiece) and "Still Sound". Definitely the spirit of the first album is kept ! (= And sorry for my (shitty) english, That's why I'm french =p

Ah awesome :) What course? I'm third year English Language! Sheffield's best for small but ace gigs, I'd say. DrownedInSound do loads at the Harley which are all really good. :) Most gigs at the Harley are pretty good actually. Then you have like Leadmill, Plug and o2 for more mainstream kinda stuff. I enjoy the gig scene here anyway. And it's close enough to Leeds and Manchester to get to gigs there too, so it's pretty cool :) x
