Obviously this only applies to commercial products, if the OP was inquiring about homemade dips, this is not a viable answer. Commercially prepared products will have a best before date on them, and may have addiitonal information on the package to indicate how long it stays fresh after the seal has been broken. For dips prepared at home, I'm certain the length of time will depend on both the nature of and freshness of the ingredients.
