I still owe you a live Rain Parade boot (actually two now....got another recently, from Maxwell's, 1983).....maybe I'll see you at ATP.....Hope so. Will be in Shitcargo next weekend.....

Brian has no weenie...

I really dug the MBV set... because I saw it first @ ATP, it blew my mind little more there...

MBV was amazing - what did you think?

I've downloaded it (Wedding Present), but I haven't checked it out yet. I know I'll eventually buy the cd, and I usually like to wait if I know I'm going to actually purchase it. And yes, the Cubs are looking good this year. I'm a Red Sox fan, so I've been kind of spoiled the last few years. Would love to see you guys finally win one though. You're certainly due ;)

Spacemen 3 song was my highlight of the day. Yeah Jarvis was cool- I didn't get to see the whole set because we were working, but we got to tape the sit down interview with him and it was cool. Did you catch the Atlas sound set? It sounded great.

no - do you have it? What did you think of the spiritualized set?

nooooo! Where was it?

Here are 2 full live shows that we shot for pitchfork in Chicago. Enjoy- Caribou Link http://pitchfork.tv/live/caribou/after-hours ESG Link http://pitchfork.tv/esg-the-final-show/one

What time do you guys go on? We might start playing shows soon - we just got a new member - Ray's sister. she rocks.

Things are pretty much the same here, which is good. Sounds like the UK trip will be great. Seeing any specific bands while you are there?

Hey Brian! Back from LA you should check out who walked into one of our interviews -http://www.vimeo.com/796885 I see that your band is playing on the 26 - but I am already scheduled to tape the Boredoms. I'll check you guys out next time.

hope you are still planning on going to that show with me saturday

bboes...how you diggin' on the beasts? do you have a copy of chewyfoot???

Hey! It's been raining...:( so sad......everything is really great right now. Work is kickng my ass...YAY! I see you're going to see the Boredoms too. I can't wait!

His solo stuff is power-pop/guitar-pop. It's all pretty enjoyable, though I wouldn't call it spectacular. His first album, The Bible of Bop, is definitely his best.

Hatchie matchie!

dude...ride a doubledecker for me would ya???

Here's the video we shot on new years!http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/download/48516-gringo-star-all-yall-videomp3

yes, very much so...@bgnet...etc

hola b...getting the beasts of bourbon(finally) in the mail...along w/damion's new band autolite strike...

I haven't seen that Roky performance, but I'd like to check it out. As far as new releases, I really like the new Beach House and Stephen Malkmus albums. I've downloaded a few more, but haven't really checked them out yet.

Yep, listening to this album really brings back a lot of memories. And Jack Ruby is definitely one of my favorite songs on the album.

Glad we're high together

bboes...how you diggin' the nomads??? send me your snail address and i'll send some beasts of bourbon and maybe you can shoot me some of those nomads goodies, eh????

Hola, new friend. I enjoyed listening to your radio station.

The Adam Franklin record is pretty good, definitely in the vein of Swervedriver, but mellower. I'm psyched they're playing again, as they really only brokeup due to record company bullshit. MBV really surprises me, and it will be interesting to hear a new album. I guess half of it is stuff they've recorded over the years, as well as new stuff. I just hope it doesn't suck ;)

I highly recommend checking out Atlas Sound... amazing...

yup, got 'the low road' and 'black milk' on cass. and smavey gave me a copy of a comp called 'beyond good and evil'...i'm not sure what the other one is..... great stuff though.. you got any scientists????

Hiya! my friend alana took the picture, she had her holga and digital with her. I think it's digital with a fisheye lens. I just got a holga and i'm loving it.

hello!

We shot Jens Lekman on 11-2-07 and here's a clip from the after show http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/download/46909-jens-lekman-julie-tram-7-to-heaven-live-in-a-chicago-apartment

Yeah, I've been playing the entire box set this week. I'm doing pretty well, pretty much the same blend of work and family. Hope things are good on your end.

it's pretty good...i just picked up the new one on drag city too. it's not bad, more varied...if i see any d & c on wax, i'll snag it for you!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XG2P1-zMEIE New PALMFLOWER video - yeah!

so - turns out that Van Halen and Adam Franklin show are the same night. bummer. maybe Adam goes on late and we can do both

Taping Deerhunter on sat. and Boris on Sunday! Grand Buffet and of Montreal next weekend we are taping in HD. You should try to go to one of the shows. Grand Buffet are fun to see. We got them on JBTV - it's going to be great!

peek-a-boo

Let me know how the show was! We just taped ESG's last show in Chicago. It was great!

yeah boes. c'mon! you're the original psych dude. where the hell were you!!??

Just shot Acid Mothers Guru Guru at Empty Bottle for pfork. we are shooting a lot this month. What are you up to? All the psych dudes were at acid mothers - where were you? Ha! The singer of Plasticland was there.

have you tried gemm.com? might be kinda pricey, but i've found stuff before when i've looked. i lucked out and found em cheap here. but gemm might not be a bad place to start.
