hey there sorry for the late response they mostly listen to English-language pop, hip-hop/trap, and rock. regarding persian music they mostly listen to underground rap, state-licensed pop which is allowed on TV/Radio, traditional persian music "musiqi-e sonnati" is a point of national pride and has an active concert going culture. then there's Tehrangeles/diaspora pop often listened to at weddings or family gatherings. if you want to get into persian music i'd recommend you start with: Mohammad Reza Shajarian Hichkas Sirvan Khosravi if you want to stay updated about trends in persian music and art checkout @thepersianmag on instagram.
