I had a great time at That Damn Show, but I was only there for a few hours during the evening. Went specifically to support KUKQ and That Damn Show and see AWOLNATION, The Faint and Bad Religion. Thought your review pretty much nailed it. Did you have a good time?

yep! i'm getting there when gates open, then I'll check out the booklet they pass out (with all the times and who plays on which stage). i'm HOPING i won't have to move, if i camp out at one stage all day. there's certain bands i MUST see. lol

It was a good show, the jam session was pretty sweet but I left after that (guessing there was an encore). It was neat to hear them talking about Phoenix not sucking. Thought that Nurses was pretty solid, wouldn't mind seeing them again. You planning on doing a write-up?

Social D went very much the way of Handsome Furs. Went to Zola Jesus but only caught the last 2 songs. I am failing at shows.

i didn't want to miss it. :) i like the venue, and he's doing an actuall "rock" show, not a solely acoustic show (like the past couple he's done out here, and which I've passed on). you never know how many more tours like this he has left before he hangs it up.

you should definitely go! The Darkness were so much fun in concert. (I saw them once previously, on their first tour of the States). Never thought they'd get back together, after they broke up.
