black celebration is excellent, and i also hold some great reward in very high regard, but i still take songs. as you said about universe, songs just has a perfect flow, and the dark mood does not relent once, not even during the positive moment of get right with me. i think songs is absolutely flawless, which it would have to be to stand out above violator, and as you pointed out black celebration. i do agree that the sweetest condition definitely had more potential, but i thought i feel loved as more of a throwback to songs like black dress (though obviously the latter boasts far superior lyrics), fearlessly placing a dance track in the midst of a more mellow atmosphere. you're spot on about shine though, shine is absolutely wonderful. the more i listen to universe though, the more i see what you mean about it's cohesiveness, perhaps i'll appreciate it more eventually. damn... i haven't listened to black celebration in a while, good call! so kida is your favorite radiohead i take it?

yeah, songs is definitely my favorite too.. i also agree with you to an extent about exciter, but i can't imagine how a dm fan couldn't love i feel loved... though for me it might be the nod to shake the disease in the bridge (which was the first dm song i ever heard, way back when i was in elementary school), or the sweetest condition... really the only song i can agree as one of their worst would be breathe. however, i agree exactly with the way you rank post-violator releases except for sotu's being first, so i may just need to listen to it some more.

i saw your comment about sotu being their best to you since sofad... you really didn't like exciter or playing the angel better? i thought those each were slightly superior to the new album... i do agree though that sofad and ultra are absolutely amazing.
