Hi, I usually visit all my lastfm-friends a bit closer to new year to check out what they have been listening during the last 12 months. And at the same time leave some tips on what I have discovered last year. But anyhow here I'm now.:D. Late in the year I found [artist]Caitlin Canty[/artist] thru Kickstarter. Other discoveries during the year was [artist]Lake Street Dive[/artist], [artist]Austin Lucas[/artist], [artist]Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line[/artist] and [artist]Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors[/artist] A band I'm looking forward to see live is [artist]JP Harris & The Tough Choices[/artist] But I still come back to my old heroes [artist]Van Morrison[/artist] and [artist]Emmylou Harris[/artist]. Listened to almost all of their albums during 2014. Have a great 2015.

My finds this year include: [artist]The Temperance Movement[/artist] (if you get the chance to see them live so go) [artist]Jason Isbell[/artist] (best americana-release with [album artist=Jason Isbell]Southeastern[/album]) [artist]Mike Farris[/artist] - [artist]Shurman[/artist] - [artist]Amanda Shires[/artist] and on and on.. Oh, Happy New Year !!!

It was purely luck that anyone ended up at that show. No one really knew them. We'd heard the first album when the show got offered. They came on and blew everyone away. Really raw performance. My contribution was doing the door, hah.

I realised why you added me when a friend told me that the Auntie Annie's National gig got a mention at their recent Belfast gig. Now that was a show!

strange article, very little about the music. and some of his facts are wrong, blackdog is zep 4, so 1970 ish not 1975. surely an editor should have picked up his mistakes. but yeah lazy jounalism

plant was great in Olympia, looking forward to see patty on tour here in November, seems to be a mini tour now, Dublin, dundalk and cork so far. haven't read barry egan in indo in years, thought he was the new Terry Keane, doing society pieces now

i only got sunday one, but looking forward to dawes, warpaint, lady lamb the beekeeper and a few others regret not getting weekend one for robert plant

the picnic will be my 13th time in 2 years!

would love to catch more! wanted to catch Paris gig but not going to work out this time.

he was defo over twice since I started listeningt to him anyway because I remember being very pissed off at missing him for a second time haha.

i've not seen him live either would love to, he's played here a few times in the last few years but I've always had something on or it clashed witrh another gig. I think Miles From Lightening might be my favourite record of his but they are all great. Adore the album he did with Redbird too...
