Isis is absolutely fantastic. I just haven't been able to get into anything they made as much as Oceanic and Panopticon. A few songs from the other albums, but that's pretty much it. But I'm currently taking a little post-metal break, only listening to Neurosis every once in a while. It's by far the most strenuous of any genre I've tried to this point, but probably the most rewarding, as well. // Did you hear PD is coming out with new shit soon? It should be really good. And, yes, Nails is quite fantastic. I've listened to Obscene Humanity so many times, but I just added Unsilent Death the other day. Do you think it's better, worse, or on the same level?

That's too bad that you don't listen to Mastodon and Opeth anymore; that show was absolutely terrific. But I can understand changing tastes because at one point I listened to music that I can't even talk about without giving me shivers. I've been trying to get into grind on and off, mostly sticking to Pig Destroyer and Wormrot. But right now I'm in the process of trying out post-metal. Isis was an instant hit for me. Have you seen them live? Neurosis is a little harder for me to get used to, but I've taken a liking to Given to the Rising and Through Silver is quickly moving up there as well.

Actually, haha, Whitechapel has a few solos here and there. But usually it's just breakdown after breakdown, and I kinda like that. One of the only bands that does it right I think.

yeah, demonoid. they're good, but they're soooo long, and each chapter is separated into like 3-5 tracks. thats why i have so much listening time logged haha
