Saw Metric and CocoRosie on the same night. Saw all of Metric, as I bought tickets for them. There was this band there called Flagship, had no idea there was an opener for Metric. I was there maybe 10-15 after the start time, thinking I missed some MEtric but to relief--no. That band only stayed on 30-40 more minutes and then Metric came out. Emily H is freaking amazing, hot, and a good performer. The sound was phenomonal and I danced my ass off. Then after walking down the street, gettin g McDonald's coffee, I skip down the street to see if CocoRosie had went on yet, and the door guy said they had been on an hour already. I did not see it worth it to pay since I missed most of the show so I enjoyed myself danced outside to two songs. The guy then tells me to just go in and I get to see the last four or five songs. Winning!

Providing transportation for the public has let me know, loudly, that no one likes punk rock. I have actually been reduced to getting Britney Spears, Rihanna, and other pop bitches on my ipod for them.

My computer miraculously started working again. New cord, but still--didn't have to crack it open this time. I am pretty sure I have brain damage from breathing the fumes in my van. Something is always broken in my life :/

I really miss Dream Bitches...myspace had such a nice little indie scene in 2004. Memories.

My top bands on my first lastfm, scrobbler were Alice In Chains, The Beatles, Xiu Xiu, Elliott Smith, Deerhoof, Minus The Bear (?), Calla, We Are Scientists, Metallica, Jay Z, She Wants Revenge, and Immortal Technique...oh 2005. ROFL.

My laptop is very sick and won't come on. I won't pronounce him dead until he rejects the new motherboard. Which won't be put in until next weekend. Meanwhile I have a van, iPod shuffle, and CD 's from 2004.

There was this awesome band named 3 5 Human. They were from Virginia and fronted for the Indigo Girl's at UNCW. Man, 3 5 Human is POWER. The front woman was phenomenal. I love them but can't find them anywhere on the internet.

Shows are the best excuse to go somewhere for a couple of days.

I went to Die Antwoord show in DC and Brooklyn. What the fuck was I thinking?

At least the person I'm with was cool enough to rent a car to drive up to the 930 Club to see Die Antwoord with me.

The Black Flag show was amazing. So it happens. I am going to a lot of shows again. Multiple a month. Like when I was single.

went to see CULTS, a little boring. wish i saw saul williams when he was in town. i hate the screen in the back of the band, showing their mouth, yuck. cat's cradle is totally redone, the bathrooms are clean and there's no sitting room anymore. merch is sold by the bar, there's no arcade games, or huge television.

Oh man, Die Antwoord was so fucking awesome in real life. Did not disappoint and sound better than their albums. ZEF. Yolandi Fokken Vi$$er had the energy of ten jailed men. That chick is amazing. Her and Ninja MUST be smoking crack before going on stage. She has a cute body but they're both a little flabby even though they're thin. I also expected her to be 4'10 or something, but she's like 5'2 and ninja is around 6'2-6'3. Insane amounts of energy. It was well received.

So far I am thinking $O$ is better than Ten$ion. Going to be seeing Die Antwoord 2 weeks from now!
