What would I like to achieve in life...pretty tough question! It sounds silly but I think it would be nice if I could somehow make a significant difference in someone's life (for the better). Like somehow help someone or be an important person to them. I like helping people so I like the idea of that. Anyhow, favorite PJ album...it's hard to choose since they're all so different. Each one is entirely its own thing so that makes it so hard to choose one over another. If I had to though, I'd probably choose To Bring You My Love. Haha, I say that but then start thinking "oh, but Let England Shake had a HUGE impact on me when it came out...White Chalk is beautiful...some of my favorite songs of hers are on Stories..." It's hard to choose! I think overall it's TBYML though, final answer. As for Isn't Anything vs. Loveless...I think Loveless flows better, but there are a lot of songs that sound great individually on Isn't Anything. Think I like Loveless better overall though.

Hmm, well I don't really have much of a "story" I guess. Actually I think it's just hard to randomly come up with things about myself. Anything in particular you'd like to know though? It's easier if I have something to go by.

Erm, the new St Vincent is soooo good, Wild Beasts' Smother is great too, Clams Casino [instrumental mixtape] because you like Burial, Shabazz Palaces for some experimental hip-hop [album called Black Up] that should do you good! :D

ha yeah. idk i don't really listen to them but had a sudden urge to listen to some arctic monkeys. ive been playing it in the background alot mostly, i'm kind of meh on it lol. the first four tracks are nice though.

Ah, 'England' is indeed very interesting. Quite unnerving in the best possible way. Along with 'The Last Living Rose' (which I think should have been the first single), I'm really loving 'On Battleshiphill' - That's a gorgeous track, beautifully melodic and poetic. 'The Big Guns Called Me Back Again' is also quite lovely. Sadly I still can't get my senses around 'Words That Maketh Murder', 'Written on the Forehead' or the title track. Ah well, there are still some stellar tracks in there despite.

Awaiting my copy to arrive in the mail. I take it it's been leaked though? :D

i listened to it about four times last night. haaaa. it's got some really good catchy tunes in it! agreed about england. made me drop everything i was doing when it came on. my favorite on the album along with the words that maketh murder. i didn't expect to love this album so much after the first listen! she's brilliant.

It's taking me some time to get into a few of the tracks (Bitter Branches also), but I love 'Hanging in the Wire' and 'The Glorious Land' is growing on me more with each listen. You can find alot of the tracks, BB included, on SoundCloud by the way.

yep loved the sound of it as well. her discography was so much fun to just dig through. actually was surprised to find myself thoroughly enjoying all of them. tbh after giving white chalk a listen i looked up some of her other tracks on youtube and well found the unexpected lol. was put off by that a bit and then got back into her when i couldn't stop listening to the live version of rid of me. then the pj madness started. ha but yes very excited for her new album and a tour!! also i see you've been listening to some beth gibbons & rustin man. brilliant. also i need to start listening to some pink floyd.

Ahh nice one, i'll definately be getting that! I wanna fuck around with the reverse effect. The Super Overdrive is great, RRP about £35, and the tone is awesome for my telecaster. If you use it as a boost with another distortion pedal, you have sustain that lasts for days. The tone is what i love most about it though. The Flanger, is what i've been using the most atm, to play a lot of prince stuff, and some 80's sounding songs. they RRP at about £90, but i found it in this guitar shop for £45!!! i had to buy that on the spot. The tone on that flanger is immense and you can get some wicked sounds out of it

yea the eraser is one of my favourite albums, i definately recommend if you love Kid A/Amnesiac, plus it has some of thom's strongest vocals. Atleast the soundlab works now, i might need another one soon if my pedal buying habbit carries on ;) What Pedals do you have?

i got a pedal bank off ebay for about £15, it's from SoundLab and has 6 ports. It's worked great ever since i've had it, beats battery's anyway. God i was getting so annoyed buying batteries all the time, and the pedals sounds shit wen battery is on low. What pedal bank you got? It was Ok Computer last night, Kid A today, and now the Eraser :)
