I've listening to only a few albums from Mount Eerie (Black Wooden Ceiling, Lost Wisdom, Dawn and No Flashlight) but nothing has beat The Glow pt II. I like No Flashlight but once again, not nearly as much as the last two albums produced by The Microphones.

Some of my friends from my home town came so I only saw Bobby Birdman's last track, but MNDR is fierce. I was excited about her, and she was great when her songs weren't cutting out for sure. YACHT was a lot more enjoyable than what I thought they would be but it was still sort of a wack show. The crowds there are awful though! Everyone stares at you because you don't go to their fucking school, everyone also just barges in front of you to get closer and like... I would be a lot less offended if one of them would say, "excuse me," once in a while. My brother almost got in a fight with some drunk asshole too. Everyone there is basically a big dbag.

it was really fun! i had a good time, the bands were awesome. yacht was way better than i thought they would be... i'm not the biggest yacht fan... it was good other than the fact that every time i go to the cave i kind of just get really irritated with everyone there. what'd you think?

no, it's not unfortunately. it just made me laugh really hard (and still does every time i look at it). but oh muh god i had no idea micachu was going to be at that show! i don't care too much for spoon/deerhunter but micachu is my faaavorite. i'll try really hard to go but that week/the next week has a ton of really good shows and i don't know that i can afford them all!

um, im not exactly sure. i remember when they played before atmosphere it was mostly just them but they had a guy come out and play guitar in a few songs, maybe there were more people and i just dont remember though, it was a while ago. either way i cant wait!

Wellllllll that's probably because I do indeed listen to music that you do (Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Interpol, Weezer, Death Cab, some Radiohead) but haven't really done so since I started scrobbing a year or so ago. I've actually meant to ask for good bands to listen to since I'm pretty open in what I listen to.

If you haven't already you should give "Spirit If " by Kevin Drew a listen.
