Yeah, they were both pretty good. The Zoviet France gig in the church was something special. Really glad I decided to go. I bet that was a strange experience.

Cool, I'll be sure to say hello then. Yeah, The Caretakers stuff was very strange but really interesting! Really enjoyed it. I missed the Attila Csihar show, but saw him do some stuff at the Throbbing Gristle show which was class. Did you seen any Zoviet France?

Man, if i was listening to Electric Wizard in my lunch break there's no way i'd want to do any work, pure monging out music. Saying that i just worked my way through a weedeater album, so hard not to shout out WIZARD FIGHT! in the middle of the office.

or that there's any drums at all... i mean "the guitar sounds nice" sounds way to much like a vague cop-out.

Especially if you're sat there with them listening to it and not really into it... Plus I'm the worst liar ever... glad you liked it. (y)

I basically only buy Wire for the letters page and invisible jukebox. Nothing's quite beaten the Wooden Shjips guy writing in to defend his own album though.

Andy Taylor, they played Oneohtrix Point Never Michael McDonald's Sweet Freedom in The Wire for this month's invisible jukebox. You probably know this already, idk,

Not until you pointed it out... It is a little odd actually. I liked Smashing Pumpkins before they went all egomaniacal though. Siamese Dream is a really good rock record. Just heard the renamed Voice of the Seven Thunders for the first time. Woah.

So I've got to the point with that song where I now have heard it enough to feverishly want more. Where to start with Major Stars I guess? 4?

Don't worry, think of it as a very early christmas present. Either that or you can buy me a super expensive London pint at the Raw Power show in May, which we are both definitely going to find a ticket for and attend, right? Merry christmas and that. I'm gonna listen to Wooden Shjips Christmas Tape over and over until my voice goes all delayed.

Woah that's quite a sales pitch you've given me. I might have to make the trip before I head home just to sample it. Have you seen this? Todd Trainer is a mental http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZWrVQTlonc&feature=player_embedded

Yo, great to see you at the weekend. I particularly enjoyed having some people with me to watch Shellac and Six Organs. How was the neverending journey....?

Yes, it was most enjoyable but also most expensive. I ate too much tagine and too many kebabs. Still, you can't take it with you etc etc. King of Jeans is all about 'Spent' man! It's the best track by a long way. That and Lip-Ring.

Yes it was! I listened to lots of Ash Ra Tempel and Grails and stuff cause I was in Morocco. Just got the new Om to review which you and Joe are avidly discussing. Am hopeful as they've never yet clicked. Whaddya reckon to King of Jeans? and check out this restaurant in Paris: http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs131.snc1/5616_572348578746_204504184_35351586_607580_n.jpg

Bit of a new Om track here http://www.myspace.com/variationsontheme Even on myspace, the production makes me want to cry with joy. Amos' drums sound is absolutely insane. There's no way this album won't completely slay.
