"'The world is so beautifully mysterious,' Madame Bourgeois sighed. Yes, I thought to myself, and mysteries are so much more beautiful when the plumbing works." The Tenant Tales are very enjoyable reading. Well-done.

Honestly, when you look into things with an open mind, you realize the modern woman faces so few handicaps and in fact, far from facing a world of "male privilege", she has the benefit of the "pussy pass". (One study I've seen shows that sex and not race, particularly being female, results in the greatest discrepancy when it comes to length of sentences in criminal trials - to the benefit of the female.) She has equality or privilege. With the aforementioned in mind, could you offer me an area where women are at a disadvantage, and how feminism has brought benefits to society as a whole?

There is no pay gap (doing an apples to apples comparison, where a man and a woman have the same experience and work the same hours, results in the woman earning 98% of the income the man does, and if it's a single woman, 102% IIRC). Men make up over 90% of workplace deaths, die six years earlier than women (yet women still get much more public health funding), are by far the majority of homeless and the imprisoned. Are women arguing for the opportunity to partake in any of that male privilege? Wanting to take the "dirty" jobs? No. Instead, we'll see them arguing for things like special preference into the few areas where males still dominate in college (math and sciences) or even more draconian policies for things like "child support" enforcement (the only thing for which the equivalent of debtor's prison still exists).

It's little more than a special interest movement for women (one which is also destructive for society as a whole; for just one example, almost all gang members lack a father in their lives). They want "equality" (or better) when it suits them, but when equality would bring them down, it's conveniently ignored. For example, when was the last time you saw a feminist protesting for equality in selective service laws? I, as a male, had to sign up at age 18 for the great "male privilege" to be drafted if we ever go to war. (Today, in Iraq, 98% of deaths are males.) Meanwhile, these "oppressed" women are nearing 2/3 of college graduates and are a majority of the voting population (53%). Sounds like oppression to me.

Hey d00d. I'd like to be friends, but I'm worried you're one of those male feminist types. If that's the case, well, good luck to you. If not, excuse the insult!
