Scrobbling is outdated—telepathic listening is where it's at. Maybe yours just isn’t tuned in?

for better and for worse and so it goes “ more years than we want to admit / spun away running in circles / trudging endlessly forward against the blizzard / fainting from exhaustion / and waking up back at the start”

Consider yourself adopted! 🖤 but beware of regular kitchen dance parties and really bad puns.

Changed my status on this site to occasional visitor but still bookmark stuff and check most of what people, algorithms and algorithms pretending to be people recommend me to check (even if it takes me the same amount of time it takes the light of stars to reach earth💫).

Dancing feels so unmatching. Sitting in a leather armhair while sipping on a glass of scotch and pondering my forthcoming master plan is the only acceptable feel to it.

Recommendation: The Landwerk releases by Nathan Salsburg. Very beautiful mixtures of Ambient, Folk and samples from old records.

Harsh noise/industrial is so boring; clinically romantic/achingly intelligent is where it's at.

Noise is my way of life. I'm listening to noise, I'm making noise and I want to have sex to noise and have many discussions about Nietzsche while listening to Gerogerigegege. God is dead, Nietzsche is dead, Juntaro is übermensch.

Thinking I've come across very few interesting reads on the ritual and music commonly defined as ritual and was wondering which ones are your go-to reads on the subject because you know stuff about things :}

I think ritual as in constituing action in and of itself by encompassing both the mundane and the trascendent might actually be one of most philosophers' top concerns, even if on an underlying level. Check Maurice Bloch's Ritual, History and Power and also perhaps Stoekl's Politics, Writing, Mutilation if you already haven't!

I have a thing for Yellow Swans' Going Places cause it looks like the place I'd long to go to/inhabit.
