Have been enjoying your more ambient songs/artists over the last day...decided to scan my friends' collections and see what they listen to a lot that I normally don't.

I just saw you were getting your fix of The Fixx on December 21st! Same here!!!

Hey, Ted. I’d like to invite you to listen to [artist]Subatomic Dreams[/artist].

How are you enjoying the new U2. I saw you liked Song for Someone too. Excellent song!!!

Camera Soul play "Again" www.youtube.com/watch?v=ael4uzEJ5ZI Greetings from Italy

Greetings from Mass. Nice library.

Hi there! From Brazil here but currently in the US finishing a PhD. Be well!

Its going good over here :) I'm trying to take a break from the new U2, but it will be short lived. I can't get enough of "Breathe" but pretty much every song is addicting. Might be my favorite since Achtung Baby.. but time will tell. Where are you from?

Hello :)

Happy New Year/Bonne Année 2009! :D

Joyeux Noël!/Merry Christmas! :) SCC

Nice tracks!

Hey, things are going good. Busy...but good. We lost about a month due to Hurricane Ike a month or so ago. Since then all has been a blur. So it sounds like you are no fan of 2.0;( A few years ago I quit working from home. Since then I don't get to frequent this site nearly as much. So what are the main changes? By the way, it looks like you are on an Elvis binge;) Hope you are well. er

yeah the social aspect is gone completely :( Then again I stopped checking as frequently a while ago when my work schedule changed. Change is inevitable? hmmm.... hope all is well with you and the fambly. I loved your halloween flickr photos btw!

I am going to see Jenny Lewis and Connor Oberst tonite. Pretty excited about it. Hope you're great aicvisa. Dgold.

I hate this 2.0 crap. I used to go on last.fm a dozen times a day. Now I check it every week or so. It just fucking sucks and I am very irritated. I love 2.0 goodness, but this is a horrific implementation of it.

I find that the new 2.0 interface is far less social. THe shoutbox used to be on the top right and now its rendered to the bottom where scrolling habits dictate that one is not going to read it to the same degree.

Yes, it is growing on me. I would like to see layout changes, or the choice to choose where to put certain elements. I wasn't sure about changing the weekly top artists to the Last Seven Days, but it makes more sense if it does update in real time.

It's pretty eclectic up in here.

oO .. how is the life over the pond? :) .. hope the weather is not too crapy...

Thanks for the pics, and yes, it is a good "mellon collie" day. I'm packing to move to Indiana, and somehow that album fits the mood.

I thought it was amazing! I'm jealous of your seats though, mine were not that good...I'm so glad I went to the concert.

So what do you think of the new DCfC album?

hey! thanx for the friends req!

Sweet, good luck.

Hey Ted, toss me a message with user/pass.

Hi...I'm targeting Grant Lee Buffalo fans with my free album, as a subtle comparison has been made by some and may make it of interest to you.. It is available to download in full here: http://www.filesap.com/a/mitchell ...and it really would be greatly appreciated if you took the time to listen :)

I have been shamed! :P I use an open-source webserver application called Subsonic. It's great... Streams and downloads almost anything, good interface.. easy to set up... check it out. I'll make you an account on mine tomorrow so you can check it out and leech. :)

115gb available to users of my server, about 150gb total. You? :)

good luck finding the Caffrey's in Windsor. I checked out all of the Beer Stores within a reasonable drive into Canada, and none carried it. I do recall having seen it at the LCBO several years ago. One of these days I'll make a trip over to pick up some Caffrey's, the nectar of the gods!!

Make sure you've got the extended-release version... wouldn't want things to go all single on you at an inappropriate time.

They have pills for that now, dude.

Pretty nifty indeed!

Your double-listen strategy intrigues me.

It's gotta be a state without fuckin' mountains!

Course Live Noise is always good. :)

Mmmmmmmm yes...... You need to fire up the 'b' album.

Oh nice! Hope you guys like the show. Have a nice week!

You too Ted! And that's great your son is getting into Rush. Nice!

I'm jazzed about Rush; still my favorite band after all these years. Yes, I'm surprised we don't have super compatibility. Might be because I can't really get into Death Cab for Cutie for some reason...I've tried!

Thanks! You have a very good taste in music and you're going to see Jack Johnson live! Lucky You!

That was my first listen, ever, and I really liked it.

Got anything to recommend, by the way? How do you feel about digital trading?

Hah, neat that you have that connection. Interestingly enough, most Canadians I meet here that are aware of them do not like them much. I have found that a couple of the guys now do a radio show up there, though.

Course, it's all about phases. And also, much like what you state over there in your monolog, my mood totally dictates my music.. and I tend to be rather erratic in mood.

Oh, and I pretty much hammer everything.
