It won't be so bad. CA is a great place. Lots of friendly people. Amazing Art Scene. I Move around 5 months out of the year and i think its super awesome to meet new people and explore. Not seeing family and friends can be a little ruff but they are always with you in someway. Don't worry

Greetings neighbor! A melodica is kind of like a harmonica crossed with an accordion. It's a keyboard of about two octaves, which you blow into and play the keys and it produces sounds like some sort of treble accordion. A singing saw is essentially a long hardware saw that you place between your knees and bend and then play with a cello bow. It sings a lovely kind of hum (but it's really hard to play). You can hear it on a lot of aeroplane tracks as kind of a ghost-like whistle (see: In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and Ghost).
