Seeing that you like The Cure, Joy Division and The Smiths, it is possible that you might like other New wave groups like The Sound and The Chameleons. The best album from The Sound is “From the Lions Mouth”. The tracks are comparable to some of Joy Division like Transmission. Their best and most famous track is ‘Winning’. The Chameleons are much more atmospheric. I like their debut the most. Some tracks like Second Skin and View from a Hill are more comparable to Atmosphere from Joy Division. A more recent group, with a completely different style, that I've discovered lately is Songs: Ohia. It's a singer-songwriter with connections to indie rock and folk. Thanks for the tips. I’ll definitely try them as soon as I can. I don't speak any Swedish, but it might be that I could understand some when reading, because it's a Germanic language, just like Dutch what I speak. My only real link with Sweden/Scandinavia is my name.

Very nice taste. I love your top artists. The Smiths, The Cure and The National are really brilliant, just as Joy Division, Kent and Low are. I have only listened to one album from Low: I Could Live in Hope. Any tips which album I should try next from them? The same goes for Kent and Du & Jag Döden.
