it's not over yet but yeah, it should be really good :D (though everyone's a bit afraid of the weather - we're having storms and flood danger in the whole country now)... if the line-up had been like this last year, I would've gone. well, maybe next year? :) i see that things are changing in Poland very quickly, i mean more and more bands come and play here so it makes it more possible to see your favourite ones. of course, if you can afford it because tickets and accomodation are still quite expensive for an average person.

Thanks :) I applied for three - Psychology, Polish and Italian philology. Now all I can do is wait for the results until 14th. Oh, and I forgot - Arctic Monkeys are playing on this big festival as well :P

Well, I would surely go to some gigs in Germany as well if I could afford it :p I don't know if Arctic Monkeys have ever been in Poland - i dont think so :/ As for my studies, it all depends on my exam results which i'm getting tomorrow. Then, I have to register online on some universities' websites and pay for it, which is a shame really... And then, I wait several days to see if I'm on the list or not. Anyway, it's quite sure I'll move out and rent some room because I'd study sth like 200km from home...

the festival i told you about is in a few days but I won't be there - as for money, it's a difficult time for me. i've got to spend a lot before moving out and going to university in October... but I'll see Placebo in November as there'll be another concert - closer and much cheaper! :) regret not seeing Kings of Leon and some other bands, though.

wegen deiner frage mit dem zug: einzellfahrten sind recht teuer. da müsstest du mit 50 € pro fahrt rechnen. aber es gibt ländertickets womit man in jedem bundesland 1 tag lang fahren kann mit 5 personen für 25€. d.h. mit ner fahrgemeinschaft wirds billiger. ansonsten mal nach nem dauer spezial gucken (eine fahrt ~30 euro)

yeah, exactly :p well, Madonna's concert is considered to be the most important musical event of the year. I don't know how much euros the cheapest ticket would cost (we still have Polish currency), but almost as much as 3 or 4-day ticket for this festival where Placebo's gonna play. for the same money, you can see up to twenty bands or so. that's weird O.o

well, rock&indie music is quite popular here but it doesnt mean that all bands like playing in Poland :/ instead, we're gonna have Madonna and James Blunt concerts ;p and Scandinavia does make me think about hard-rock and metal music, yeah... I loved 'Cant stop feeling' ages ago, when I found demo version somewhere. the file's got lost since then but i think it was way better and more dynamic than this new album version :p

Ihan hyvähän sun on toi. Tosin ei näytä hirveen sulta (eka ajatus = teiniernu XD~). Mut jos annat aiheen niin vois leikkiiki jotain. Mulla on leikkelyjakso päällä (eli samat naamat joka aamu samaan aikaan) ja leikkelyryhmässä influenssa-aalto nousemassa. Itse pääsin messiin jo alkupäästä niin oon nyt jo henkevien kirjoissa, mutta vaikuttaa aika hurjalta toi kato. Kaikki saa sellaisen 40c kuumeen kolmeksi päiväksi tosta pöpöstä ja yhtään ei saisi olla poissa ni :DDD Ja sit ilmeisesti tartutin sen mun japanin ryhmään (tai sit ei mun vika), mut nyt senkin tunnit on peruttu, kun porukka on pedin omana. Mitäs sin? Flunssa-aalto saavuttanu lukiota?

many of the bands I like never played in Poland before... except Muse, Placebo, Pearl Jam which I havent seen unfortunately, and Sigur Ros (I have). i dont know if Arctic Monkeys are on tour this summer, but it'd be totally awesome to see them as well :) and 'm listening to this new FF stuff... so far, weird ;p

and Franz Ferdinand maybe... btw, have you listened to their last album? i've heard it's kinda different, more like 80's music and less like indie-rock...

yeah, it's a festival :) but the full line-up isnt known yet... four-day tickets are a bit expensive so maybe i'll buy it for one day, just to see Placebo. it's possible, though, that bands like The Killers, Kings of Leon or Oasis will play too so we'll see :>

my school's started on Monday and it's soooo hard to get used to studying again. this year i'm having winter holidays exceptionally early - usually it's two weeks in February, now they begin in January yet... too bad because there's no longer break till Easter and... my final exams :O

we eat a lot of meat during Christmas itself, only the Christmas Eve is vegetarian ;) winter is not more bearable without snow if instead of it - like here now - there's a strong, freezingly cold wind and this awful drizzle (?). anyway, I also wish you Merry Christmas ('Wesolych Swiat' in Polish) and Happy New Year! May your dreams come true :)

ah, I forgot - no snow here as well... i remember that Christmas used to be the time when everything around is white but the climate changes and winter does not feel like winter really. it's more like a exceptionally cold and gloomy autumn :/

Oh, we still cannot check our grades in the Internet :P As for Christmas... I think there are some similarities. Singing some Christmas songs, preparing special dishes... The whole family meets on Christmas Eve to have a dinner (or supper rather) with traditional 12 vegetarian dishes on the table. The tradition also tells to start eating when you see first star sparkling in the sky. After that, we open presents which lay under the Christmas tree, everyone is happy and so on. The next day, 25th Dec, is the time of celebrating, family meetings, most people go to church as well. 26th Dec is said to be the second day of Christmas but there are no special customs connected with it, I suppose.... so yeah, that should be most important things :) Different or not?

i'm having christmas break since tomorrow and loads of work to do. three big tests just after 2-week holiday and a school ball? sounds like a joke for me :P i've listened to The Killers' new cd a few times and it still hasn't grown on me. nothing special really. yeah, comparing to their previous albums, it does suck :P
