AH, thanks. Found it. Paper Cut, no s at the end. Amazon does have it. That's awesome.

So, I know it's been a while since we talked about this, but I just went looking for the Paper Cuts movie you mentioned, and I can't find it anywhere. It's not on Morgan's IMDB either. Any help?

Awesome. Much appreciated. You seem to know your stuff really well. ^_^ Also, any idea what happened with that More Adventurous tape that the forum was trying to buy? Like the Sandbox Sessions thing?

Just noticed you edited Whispertown's wiki after me. I also see you on the RK.net boards. Just thought I'd say hi. Last.fm thinks our musical compatibility is "Super". So there's that. Just out of curiosity, is there any different music from the "Vagtown2000" days? Like, anything that hasn't appeared on later albums?

I didn't make it out for the show....I was vegging at home. I don't have a show until Robyn plays summerfest in Milwaukee (which is only a maybe). I am definitely going to Aerosmith with my family and then trekking to Kentucky to see Neko Case a few days prior to my birthday in July! Have any shows you're looking forward to? Also, I need to check out this Jenny Owens Young you have so many plays of.

Well, she did mention that the vinyl itself would only be online and at shows. But they only ran 500 white vinyl as a limited pressing. I see you can still purchase white vinyl online as of now, which is what I'll order if it's still available on Friday, but if it's not, no big deal because I'm just so damn glad this album is going to be on the best format ever to grace the Earth.

Nor have I! Waiting until payday Friday to preorder, but I see the autographed white vinyl are already sold out! Hopefully the unsigned white ones last until then!

That's very awesome of her to do for you! I actually saw KISS when I was 9 years old too. My mom influenced me with Cyndi Lauper, so yeah, like I said, all over the place with music here.

Haha, well thank you! As for the music influence, I didn't mean you were forcing it own her or anything, but it definitely helps when you play the stuff! My musical taste was all influenced by my parents. Now they listened to stuff I didn't like, but alot of stuff I did, and they never forced it on me either, just like I won't on my kids someday either. I don't ever plan on censoring my music for my kids either. I wasn't sheltered like that at all. You're talking to a person who at the age of 5 knew almost all the words of KISS songs about subjects 5 year olds probably shouldn't know, hahaha.

Yeah, I think Dreamworld has become my favorite Rilo song overall, but again, that's still a hard choice! Awesome that you're influencing your kid with music too, she's adorable! That's what I'm gonna do when I have kids someday, it's what my parents did to me. They're the reason I love music and have such a wide expanse to just about any genre. I wish I had actually gotten that Pirates Jenny sticker. I have the seamonster Jenny sticker on my laptop, and I just ordered a Rilo sticker yesterday to add to my laptop as well. I'll definitely have to check out The Elected too!

Ah, yes, and congratulations. Because of you encouraging me to listen to Rilo Kiley, you just helped them break into my Last.fm top ten OVERALL plays, coming in at number 9 right now. All the other artists, those have been accruing since July of last year. Rilo took only 5 days.

Hahaha, same! I woke up, grabbed my phone and started checking my websites and froze dead in my tracks when I saw you posted that and scrolled down more to see she posted it. I hope it's not so damn limited that I can't get a copy and I hope it's not an outrageous price (not that it's not worth every penny or anything), but so far the most expensive vinyl, I have probably bought has been Rilo's UTB or my Blink 182 self titled album. I shell out money for the ones I really one and Unwavering would be one, no exceptions.

Yup I bought it! Went down to the Saddle Creek Shop today. I posted a photo to Tumblr as soon as I got it to my vehicle, haha. I think the two harder ones to get are gonna be More Adventurous and Under The Blacklight, but I already have that one on it's way to me from Japan. I did see their first album there today too, but I just went with Execution today. I want to know how to get this JOY album on vinyl, dang it! I wonder how limited it will be because I won't be able to buy it until next Friday, gaaaaahhh!

If you look at my top tracks for the last 3 months, JOY is... well, now she's not #1, she's #2 now... That darn Rilo band took over #1. Which makes me wonder, is it sad that in the last three days, I've listened to more Rilo Kiley than I've listened to JOY in three months?! Yikes, obsessed much, am I?

Dreamworld is definitely my favorite Blake song. Insomnia sounds like no fun to me! I'm just a night person, I'm up all night and then sleep until I have to work. I've never heard Whispertown, but you can most likely count me in for that show cause it's a Sunday, so I don't work. I'm always up for seeing a show, even if I don't always know the people. I knew literally nothing of JOY, except her Hot In Here cover, when I saw her. I'm gonna add that show to my upcoming events now, haha.

I grew up on Fleetwood... My parents played them alot. I was introduced to lots of music because of my parents. I actually have Rumours on vinyl. Hmmm, favorite Rilo song? Damn, it's tough. I do enjoy Dejalo, I didn't at first cause it was like this WTF in the middle of this record, but it's really grown on me, but far from my favorite, so I'm safe there I guess :) I'd have to say, I really love Portions for Foxes, I've been learning it on guitar now, but Dreamworld is really up there for me as well.

I also meant to ask you, did you listen to Fleetwood Mac before or after getting into Rilo? Cause there are just so many songs where I'm like damn, this is a Fleetwood song if I ever heard one! I've actually been listening to Fleetwood in the last couple days more just because of it.

Oh dear god, were you one of the girls that came up and ordered a Mike's Hard Lemonade that night per chance and the bartender made fun of the fact that girls were drinking what I was drinking? He was kind of a douche.

I have the same connection with Ben fans at his shows. Two of my best friends from Chicago, I met because of a show here. It's crazy how music brings the world together. I actually posted the chorus from Silver Lining on my Facebook last night, and got response from several people, which means some people have held out from introducing me to them! Punks, they are... I see in your events that you saw JOY in Arizona, were you perhaps the person I overheard talking to someone at the merch table about going or coming from Arizona recently then? I remember hearing someone say that when I was purchasing merch. Better yet, I'm guessing you're probably in video I took there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UURPNR3qUk&list=UUfKFPdsoTys9qG61hANbmmg&index=9&feature=plcp I would've went up front, but I felt overpowered, I was maybe one of two guys there and it was all girls at the stage, haha... I did end up moving closer, but never directly in front.

I'm OBSESSED with Under The Blacklight, but everything is fantastic from them. You've created a monster, you have no idea. I actually just ordered Under The Blacklight on vinyl, now I have to wait for the damn thing to arrive. That's awesome about the tattoo, I've been wanting lyric ones on my arm as well. Which line do you have inked?

I hear you on the $1 vinyl too... It's an exphey're decently priced on their vinyl, and alot of times, great common albums go right into their $1 clearance section, I have found tons there. Kanesville Kollectibles in Council Bluffs is a hidden gem. Over 1,000,000 vinyl in the building, most are greatly priced, but most are 80's and older. Again, it just depends on the market. I look for almost anything and everything I like, which it quite wide. Antique stores are great too!

I'm loving Rilo Kiley... Seriously. I listened to them on every break of work today. Looking through Rilo bio today, I've actually heard them without knowing too, since they've had music on Grey's Anatomy. Zzzz records is where I went a couple months ago! That store was great, I did find a couple things there! I've found some great stuff at Saddle Creek Shop too! Some Dr. Dog and Sufjan Stevens... now I have to look for some Rilo Kiley on vinyl!

Okay, it's seriously bugging the hell out of me right now. I'm sitting here listening to 'More Adventurous' now and Portions For Foxes came on, when it hit the chorus, I caught myself singing along... why? Cause I heard this somewhere the other day and now I can't remember where. All I remember was "Wow, this is an awesome track." It's bugging me, cause I don't know where I heard it! GAHHH! The only thing I can think of is it might have been played over the sound system before the Death Cab show, but even thinking I don't think it was then.... But Rilo Kiley = very awesome!

I'm liking the Saddle Creek Shop more and more recently. They're much cheaper and get some better titles sometimes. Homer's is a bit pricier but I collect all sorts of vinyl and I'm able to find quite a variety in there. I listen to just about everything, I have stuff from probably every decade from the 60's until now. I'm actually loving Rilo so far. I'm kinda head over heels for Pictures of Success right now. I just finished the first album so now I am downloading The Execution of All Things. What's your favorite Rilo album? Right now, i don't have a lot of shows lined up. I kinda take them as they come sometimes. Unfortunately, I usually don't have the money to travel to shows as much as I'd like. Right now, my next show I have lined up is Thrice at the Bourbon Theater in Lincoln in June. Thrice is one of my all time favorite bands and I've been waiting for 7 years to see them. Last time they were here is just when I was getting into them, and they're on a farewell for now tour.

Ahhh sorry to hear you had to miss it. I don't really have too many hanging places. I work all the time, usually until late at night, so I am not out and about too much. I try to catch shows on my days off if anything is good around on Wednesdays and Sundays. I've been going to more shows at the Waiting Room recently though, but my music tastes have changed within the last year to find myself liking more of the artists that frequent through there. Shockingly, I've still never been to a show at the Slowdown. You're more likely to run into me at record shops. I spend a lot of my days off going through bins of vinyl at Homers, Drastic Plastic, Antiquarium, Kanesville Kollectibles, Saddle Creek Shop, etc. I could spend hours in those stores. (And I'm gonna download some Rilo as we speak.)

I'll have to check out those Rilo Kiley tracks. In fact, I've been meaning to check out Rilo Kiley for a loooong time, but never have. I remember seeing 'Under The Blacklight' at the record store all the time, a long time ago. I initially heard of them because I was a huge Salute Your Shorts fan as a kid and when I was looking the show up one day I saw that Blake Soper was in Rilo Kiley. I'm sure that's what everybody knows the band for too, former child stars. Kinda sucks when bands gets associated for things that don't really directly relate to them as a band sometimes, haha. Yes indeed I was at the Death Cab show. I was able to get some last minute tickets really cheap and fortunately didn't work that night. It's one show I am really glad I didn't miss. The orchestra really enhanced the music.

And also, I must ask but you probably have, have you heard Late by Ben Folds before? If you haven't, as an Elliott fan, you must. That song can bring me to tears if the mood is right.

Hell yah! Who wouldn't wanna be Kate... Kate... Kate?! He has been 'solo' for about 11 years now. I say 'solo' cause when he tours he has a backing band and had a lot of the same members for albums, but Ben Folds Five has actually recently reunited, they're recording a new album now and touring this summer. And Elliott has become very big for me as well. He went up to my third played artist on here quite quickly actually.

I discovered Elliott about... 8 months ago? Because of friends. I have no idea how I never gave him a chance before. Especially with being a huge Ben Folds fan and knowing for years that his song 'Late' was written for Elliott. I have known it a long time, but somebody else had to open my eyes and ears. Elliott got me through some rough stuff last year, and what's funny, is it was actually 'Somebody That I Used to Know' that really clenched me first and kept me listening to him. The song just really hit a point with me with things that were going on in my life at that time :)

I have to keep looking through your Tumblr... the stuff you post is just plain awesome. And you're right with the Gotye stuff. I like it, but the first time I saw someone post Somebody That I Used To Know, I got a little excited thinking it was an Elliott cover. But I've been getting into Easy Way Out recently and for some reason, it never clicked in my mind until I saw your post, that's an Elliott song too! Don't know why I never caught that...
