i used to have a numark setup with 2 iCDX but I got tired of carrying 3 pieces around so I got a all-in-one setup. I'd suggest finding something that's just 1 piece because it's easier to set up and carry around, you can always resell it and upgrade too

there's a free version of virtual dj, a lot of people start with that. or you can try using ableton live which is pretty insane, i don't even really know how to use it yet but lots of pros use that
