funny you should ask... I have 3 movies sitting here that I rented to watch and one of them is Schramm so haven't seen it yet but saw the 2nd Nekromantik movie and liked it. You should check out some of Edward Lee's stuff. His style of writing sometimes reminds me of 80's slashers. You on on the other side of the country from me. I am in southern Florida. I really don't get to read to often anymore. When I was a kid you never caught me without a book but now life seems to always get in the way. I think anxiety plays a part too, my mind always feels too crowded to fill with anything else at times. I need to get rid of some of my problems and free up some space. I am sorta behind on a lot of my movie watching for the same reasons. Certain movies are harder for me to watch after the past couple of yrs of crap... not so much that the movies bother me but reminders of rl crap.

I have been watching horror since before I can remember. When I was like 5 I remember my mom taking me to the theatre to see like the Nightmare on Elm st and Friday the 13th sequels. Every horror movie I would always cheer for the 'bad guy'. Until I was about 13 the walls of my bedroom were wallpapered with horror movie posters. I was a very strange child... Do you read any splatterpunk? Where in the US are you?

Oh, I know it is 86* here, you got me beat, but I feel your sluggishness : ) Muggy as shit! I am sooo waiting to go check on my garden....that's alright, I didn't get to tell you I looked up that book you have and it is a real rare find, def a keeper....I am reading The Varieties of Religious Experience and got creeped out by some accounts that were included in a lecture re: spiritual entities-this was last night, it was two a.m., couldn't sleep bc of the heat, so yeah I didn't expect that to happen, it was one of those experiences I haven't had in ages, reading Stephen King too late or something ya know? Kind of amusing. I'll talk to you soon, hope you have the AC cranked : )

I am so glad you do : ) You can totally see why I like 'em, it is a nice compliment to everything else you listen to, which I think is excellent. I have been obsessed with Drive's soundtrack so I have been playing certain "new" songs over and over again, but def enjoying the different things I have been listening to, along with the good ol' reliables. That is so cool you are painting Buddha, I have been working on finding my muse lately too, it is funny how difficult times can totally motivate one to do exactly what they always wanted to do in the first place, I usually just shut down(I do that real well!) Take care!!

Hope you get well soon ;) I left the mod-force, and a lot of old/redundant groups... including CF. Gorebatjov completly removed his profile. Most CF-members nowadays seem to miss the point... we created the group as a joke ;) not as yet another political group :P Anyways... I believe a lot happened, but I do not care to much, anymore...

I totally agree with you, I think they are amazing, and I am definitely interested in religion the same way as you are-I have a bible with all the apochrypha bc I love that stuff, find all religion interesting, and I am a practicing Buddhist but no snob to one particular religion, I totally appreciate Gnosticism, had to do a project regarding gnosticism in a cultural anthropology class several years ago and learned a lot.... you should check out Woven Hand, David Eugene Edward's project after 16hp I think you would totally like it :) Cheers!!

Herbs in Somalia having good opportunities to grow and being sucked back into Nature as usual, sir! At the moment i am trying to understand people and trying to discover if my state of mind affect whole world outside the system whitch is myself in short(hard to describe it) or just my experience of it changes. Or if both are true, since i can only relie on my own experience and eventualy introspection, but it is always coloured by "today" paints. Pretty much what i can decribe in these funny windows or cyberspace i guess.

Newsbin is back up http://torrentfreak.com/movie-studio-lawyers-eye-the-amazing-resurrection-of-newzbin-100605/ for over a week actually. There are great stories at the same site- and the "story" that "hackers" stole the code and rebuilt the entire thing- only better and with customer data fully intact is so completely absurd

The "oifficial" last.fm in the App store is a must-have, and it's free- it scrobbles radio and your playlists- it's not perfect but its cool. You can't scrobble your ipod/iphone tracks live- it sucks. If you go to last,fm on safari it will go to the mobile site by default and i like using that for shout box abd such

You are one of these peple who never used the usenet in the traditional way. It's still really cool to use this way with the service you already have. Dl Forte or newsrover. A lot of music we like was never indexed on newsbinz with it's focus on cinema and Pr0n. Also the newsbinz code wad evidently stolen more than one time so clones of the site should be popping up soon
