Hey! Lemme suggest you new indie-rock-alternative band named Oswald. Their first single "These Days" has been playlisted on almost every major radio station in Scotland. BBC Radio Scotland even chose "These Days" as their Single of the Month. Here is their official - http://www.official.oswaldtheband.com/ - there you can find lots of music! Cheers

Why? and Mount Eerie in October. You should also hit up Budget Rock, or catch some of the SF is Doomed shows this week http://maximumrocknroll.com/2009/08/07/san-franciscos-doomed-lineup . I'll be at the Balazo on Friday and Thee Parkside on Saturday. Both shows will be great and are only $5

Found out that one of my favorite actors, Adam Goldberg, has a band: LANDy I heard one song... It's not bad, actually.

Indeed, I do. I also JUST purchased my floor tickets for Of Montreal in July!! Still need Decemberists too. Do you listen to Final Fantasy? I heard them once and forgot about them (him), but it sounded pretty good.

what!!? where'd all those bands come from?! they weren't on the initial list!! man, I wish I was going now. but i'm also glad i'm not, that trip is crazy. the drive is miserable, but worth it. I'd say go for it! It's hard though - there's so many bands you have to sacrifice some good bands, like i did beirut and fleet foxes last year. I should still be in for Wavves. I'm terrible at planning.. oh then fleet foxes is the next day. have you checked to see if tickets have been put up?

I really want to now. I was just listening to them, and I saw "Control" - the movie about ian curtis, and I really want to see more shows, and they seem very appropriate at the moment.

did you get floor tickets for Animal Collective. I might buy one. It's $55 for the floor.. how much did you pay? Also, Think About Life is playing w/ Ratatat next month. Unfortunately no online tickets are available. I don't even know who Ratatat is.
