haha i wouldn't know where to start with recommendations. while i was taking a recent break from hiphop, i was addicted to grizzly bear and some old brazilian jazz acts. but how do you like the new jay-z? it's just ok to me. i'm more a fan of cudi's album. and what's your favorite common album? mine is definitely like water for chocolate. used to be soo addicted to it.

i dunno....your taste is pretty good. im sure you've listened to em before, but if not you gotta check out some of that midwest rap. atmosphere, brother ali, soul position, if you havent already. and gotta represent the kentucky shit with cunninlynguists....they are fuckin incredible. cant beat a kno beat...haha

I see you've been paying your respects to Jacko (by listening to him). I was never a huge fan of his, but there's no denying that he was a LEGEND! This is probably the most publicized death I've seen , other than Princess Diana of course

not lupend... he cancelled (or postponed i guess) that one. LupEND was going to supposedly mark the END of his career, but he decided that he wasn't ready to call it quits yet (thank God) and so he's saving that for later on, when he does decide to retire... his 2009 album (if it makes it this year) will be called Lasers i believe... (might be called "We are Lasers")

sounds dope! i really wanted to come i would love to see Pharoahe live, he's an animal on the mic! And Black Thought is just a legend, we can leave it at that haha. Can't wait for the new Roots joint this summer/fall? who knows. but Phonte and Blu are both gonna be featured on it!
