Nah, I reckon post-rock's becoming more and more of a hit atm. Haha. You don't have to know alot technically (except for effects pedals and stuff) to be able to play. So yea... that's my opinion. I still love it though, and respect the musicians. The tunes you need to tug at people's heartstrings is not that easy to come up with. Haha.

Cool shizzles! Haha. I haven't actually taken a real listen to Fuck Buttons, probably should. They're playing at ATP, and I'll be there! Woo! =D Oh, and I think "Toe" reminds me of the band Té, I'm guessing they're not the same? Haha. All I know about the band Té is that they've got very... odd names. Lol.

Hm, haven't heard of Toe. The only math-rock bands I've heard of are Fuck Buttons (gotta love the name...) and Battles. Haha. But yea, good luck with the album searching!!

Hm yea, that's true about signed bands. Hm. But then again, signed bands often have websites/myspace to purchase their albums from. Or, just pop down to a gig (if they do one haha), and grab the album! Haha. =D

Check out JB Hifi. They don't always have the small bands there though. And I'm not sure about Sydney, but Melbourne has some shops with "local" or "underground" music, which is awesome! And if all else fails, just PM the bands on Myspace, they'll probably be happy to send you the album! I know sleepmakeswaves does that. =D
