Yes that's right and classic rock it is something different when I want listen something else:)You know I am listening the metal music cause I always wanted to be different than the rest and I have never listened something that it was on top...nowadays music is such a trash...you know that Lady Gaga...What is this dam mit??Why people don't like Metallica,Slayer,Iron Maiden etc??

Well we must start with something and types of music we like change with the changes in our character or even in our mind,thoughts etc. I also like classic rock groups for instance The Doors,Bruce Springsteen,Blondie,The Police,ZZ Top..You know stuff like that:)and gothic metal of course but only sometimes:)And I love Iron Maiden cause because of their music I started listening to heavy metal which is now one of my favourite type of music:)

Well I started listening the metal music seven years ago:)So it is a long way..But from taht moment I am listening this type of music whole the time:)First band which influenced me in this way of music was Metallica...After that Guns n'Roses,AC/DC,Slayer and now here I am in the metal world for such a long time:)It is pretty amazing for me,really!!!!

aww yeha i thought of going there but i doubt i'd have the money to :/ i'd really like to see elvenking though!! and powerquest again. i saw them in wakefield a few months back and they put on a really good show considering the venue was tiny. a band local to me might be playing at that fest too. there's like a competition on myspace to get a lesser known band to play and i voted for em aha ^_^

Hehe yeah. I saw Hammerfall recently, and before they played heeding the call, Joacim goes 'this next song is from Legacy of kings. Kerrang (to cries of bunch of cunts) said this was a very bad album'. This sparked a chant of 'fuck kerrang' in the crowd for about 5 minutes. hehehe. It does suck majorly. And no worries, add sent anyways.

With Metal Hammer I can deal with the occasional mainstream item, because although its not great it IS metal. Better than kerrang, which is the next closest thing anyway. You don't have msn or anything like that do you? Leaving all these shouts is annoying me hehe

Amon Amarth for me are either viking metal or as metal hammer says (which I read like a religion) NWOTM (lol). Still awesome, twilight of the thunder god sits in my top ten favourite albums of the past 3 years for sure. Where are 'celesty' in your charts? Awesome power metal I think.

Ok I will stop. But :D anyway haha. Folk metal is something relatively new for me. I began listening to it in the last year or so. But now Ensiferum, Eluveitie, Equilibrium, Turisas, Moonsorrow and others have laid claim to some of my favourite music

Equilibrium were my second band to break 1000 scrobbles here. Fantastic band, is all that needs to be said. I was SO happy when they confirmed for BOA this year, and their first UK show to boot!

Yeah true hehe. I have to say its a damn good lineup, slightly pish venue, but there we go. Me, my one aim of 2009 is to see Equilibrium live though. This I plan to achieve at Bloodstock 2009 :)

I agree with the dragonland (or starfall). I want Elevnking to play 'the wanderer' though. What can I say, I like my cheese? :D Where is the like for evergrey? Quality power/progressive metal if there ever was?

Power Quest I have seen, but were overrated in my view. But completely agree with Dragonland and Elvenking. Two fantastic bands that have never come to the UK in the 4 years I have been listening to metal in general.

No worries. I really really want to go to that, mainly for Elvenking, Dragonland, Evergrey... bands that come here rarely, but should come more often! So currently I am a maybe, see how my University stuff goes first.
