I really slept on the Stay Lucky album, it took me a little while to appreciate it and have it fully click with me. I think the quieter sparse sounds after The Sound and the Fury (and some of my favorite eps from the year of the eps) left me a little disappointed it was so simple. But it has really become one of my very favorites from her. It's really stunning the arrangements are gorgeous.

I agree, I liked it straight away but it’s just grown and grown the more I listen and I have new favourites (Come Into My Room and the title track), I love the romantic sound. Every song is a winner, my initial faves were Bring Him Fire, MDWOTM and The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (still love these of course!)

I love the production quality and the addition of the harmonica to the track, it's funny I can still hear her early pop vocal sensibilities in it, but you're right, it's definitely less present than on the demo. So excited to hear the rest of them!

I'm dying to find out the track listing too. I want everything possible from this release!!!!! Plus a tour with performances of the demo material etc would be nice. Bette was incredible as usual!!!! The ballads, the Sophie Tucker jokes, and yes a Hocus Pocus tribute!!!!! I know, I nearly gagged when she walked out as Winifred Sanderson..... yes, I Screamed!!!! It was perfection!

Strange, Alanis is releasing Jagged Little Pill the Deluxe Version on September 18 which will contain unreleased songs from that era and one newly written song! Just in time for the anniversary. :P
