Now fr, they are an amazing band and there is no other band like bla, If you are gonna give them a listen you should start with "just got back from the discomfort we're alright" and then "Demo?" and after that "Masked Dancers" (which is my favorite album of all time btw) and after masked dancers you should finally listen to "Okumay" which is their last project just before they broke up. Also you could listen to the Matt Spinwall split but only if you just really liked all of their other stuff ("che guevara..." is a banger track from that split tho)

Unfortunately i think there's not any band like The Brave Little Abacus, or at least i still dont know one. I would just recommend you to listen to their entire discography, (because is fkn awesome) and the only bands that i think you could possibly like (that are similar to TBLA) could be "Cap'n Jazz", "Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate)", "Snowing", "The Newfound Interest in Connecticut", and "Rockets And Blue Lights"
