"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchased in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing spirit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pushing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?"

Haha thanks. You seem pretty interesting yourself. Check out Einsturzende Neubauten if you get a chance. I see that you like industrial music and they're almost as far industrial as you can go. It's mostly German though, so it might be a hit or miss. :O

Greetings, have found some creepy and disturbing music you may like. First of all Don Bradshaw Leather- "The distance between us", I have just found it and it is quite bizarre and unique: http://direct-waves.blogspot.com/2007/03/don-bradshaw-leather-distance-between.html Incidentally I have found that you can make any music stranger just by playing it in different locations. Me and some friends have been taking a wind-up vinyl player and a bunch of records to various derelict buildings at night. The strangest so far...Glenn Miller (Jazz)!! Also here's a not particularly dark song but the video makes it so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4Py3Aamx5Q

If you want some recommendations, I'll throw in my two cents: Midnight Syndicate and Nox Arcana are both fantastic Victorian-era horror movie style instrumental music, and I know that at least one of Midnight Syndicate's albums had to do with an insane asylum (Gates of Delirium). If you want something more avant garde and weird, try either Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows or Cinema Strange. They're both very disturbing, especially Cinema Strange. (Try the song Tomb Lilies.) Finally, the ambient/neo-classical band Elend does some really incredible music. I can't listen to them much, but they're certainly frightening.

Greetings, like the music tastes and avatar. You are interested in songs about hospitals and insanity...I really like films with mental institutions, and I do a bit of urbexing (going to derilect buildings and exploring and photographing, have done a few mental institutions). Can't think of any music associated with it off the top of my head...I assume you mean industrial backround noise kind of stuff...i will get back to you if I can think of anything :-)
