Hello, how are you? I'm going to say that I have a blog Nordic music content. We have contact with several musicians and bands always do interviews with them. We asked fans to submit questions. Once they respond, we will publish the interview on the blog in Portuguese and English. Accept tips for interviews! Already have an interview with Amoral, Dreamtale, Jarkko Ahola and soon Kiko Loureiro, Joni Snoro and Zachary Hietala! : D Nice to meet you! Visit our blog: www.northernqueens.wordpress.com

Hey :), you were away for a long time, glad to see you back. I hope you're doing good. Did you hear B'z new single? When I heard about a collaboration with Chad Smith and Juan Alderete I was so excited to hear it and I can"t say I'm disappointed. It's pretty catchy, especially "Dive"

"jrock" is just a stupid way that people that aren't experienced in music call "rock" which is simply a music genre and has nothing to do with popularity. But you know what? nevermind. I don't even know why I still waste my time with this issues. people will probably never learn because they are too busy thinking about their "jrock" idols fucking each other

Well at least you tried them. ^_^ I always go out of my way to try new bands, too, because you just never know when you will find your next addiction. :3

I'll be much better after next Wednesday - that's when my last final is for this term. I can't wait for class to be done with! How are things on your end?

Hi! I saw your post on the BUCK-TICK page about not finding songs similar to Aku no hana. Have you tried listening to the darker than darkness or Kurutta Taiyou albums? Or perhaps some of the singles released around that time? If you haven't heard them already, I would suggest MAD, Narcissus, Deep Slow, Kirameki no naka de..., and Ao no Sekai. ^_^

Heh yeah other people say the same thing. To me lyrics matter A LOT. It's just as important as the composition of the song sometimes or maybe even more important. If the song isn't as good the lyrics make it more likeable, especially if it's powerful lyrics. Fortunately GLAY has a perfect blend of both in a lot of their "masterpieces". I'm not Japanese and I can't understand a lot of it so lyrics probably don't affect me as much. But if I listen to a song and really like it, but when I read the lyrics its horrible then the whole song changes for me. They really are an influential band for young people though...you're the first person I've known directly that's been influenced so much by their music. I've read elsewhere about young people not knowing where they are going with life etc. They got by because of GLAY and others like yourself took up guitar because of their hero Hisashi. Definitely good for you man. You know what music can do. It's more than just listening.

Well I've heard them all. THE FRUSTRATED is a really solid album and is up there for me too. My favorite has to be pure soul though, from their golden days back in '98. It's got a nice blend of everything. The album track is another mark of Takuro's genius I think...the composition just blows me away. Another perfect GLAY song for me along with BELOVED.

Haha, sorry! I'm just doing my daily email checking routine. ^-^ J-Rock is pretty much the best music ever, so I'm glad to hear you're still a fan despite living in America. :)

Haha, I know! When I saw L'arc-en-Ciel in Baltimore, there were so many crazed Japanese fangirls there. They were seriously clawing each other to be front row. If I had the money to fly whereever I wanted, I'd probably do the same thing. =X

Yeah, I drove 13 hours down from WA to see them, and stood in line for 12 hours to be front row. :D

Oh yes, yes. I saw GLAY in San Francisco when they came earlier this summer. They were seriously the best live performance I have ever seen and probably will ever see.

Yeah everyone has their own tastes. For me personally I'm not very big on visual kei bands save for very few. I think that's all they'll ever be. Generally, they will never achieve a new height or make a big name for themselves...a name that will record itself in the annals of J-music. I've listened to VK music before...I can stand it but it's nothing special. I know great bands like LUNA SEA, L'Arc, and even GLAY displayed a little bit of visual looks but the important thing was that's not what they were about. Mainstream is definitely the way to go...some people may say it gets really generic but that's not 100% true. GLAY and B'z could be considered extremely mainstream...but their singles/albums unrelentingly top the charts every single time without fail and I don't think it's just because they are extremely popular. It's because their songs exhibit a high level of skill and experience. What I look at the most for any rock song is the composition. I want high quality.

Yeah they are my all time favorite band. I don't think that'll change anytime soon. BELOVED is the absolute best rock ballad/song ever. That intro by Hisashi is godly. Just the whole song is so well done it's unbelievable. I could listen to that all day. I really wanted to go see them over in California but sadly I live in NY.

Ohh, I'm not sure if I saw you...I was in the front but on Hisashi's side; well, right between Hisashi and Jiro. You have a myspace? Mind if I add you? :)
