Oh yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about Iceage. In fact, I have New Brigade and about 42 other albums from 2011 I have to listen to. I'm roughly 1/4th the way done. Getting through some of my favorite bands first (Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky) and Cunninlynguists. But I'll listen to that Iceage album when I get home later. I wasn't too keen to begin with but I bought In The Aeroplane... the other day in town for £5 and it's best thing I've done in a while haha. I gave them a quick listen. The album sounds great. One that you have to be in the mood for though. Have you heard Japanther's latest? A bit popier than Iceage but it's addictive as hell. Surfin Coffin and She's the one are great/fun songs. Also King Tuff's album Was Dead (released a while back but I had no idea) is good, he's the dude from Happy Birthday.

Yeah, yeah I'm kind of the same. I'll definitely give Neutral Milk Hotel a listen. I heard bits and pieces from Tallest man on earth and he sounds awesome. I'm really into Iron & Wine right now, his album The Shepard's Dog is incredible and he has a new one coming out early next year. If you listen to the trapeze swinger on youtube, beauty of a song, one of the only songs that can hold 10 minutes without getting boring!

haha, I've only had this account since November but I imported all the stats from an oldish mp3 player that an insane amount of shins plays yes. Have you heard Wolf Parade have split? It was announced a couple of weeks ago after they finished their tour that I had the privilege of attending :D But yeah it sucks but Both Dan and Spencer have side projects in mind so I'm looking forward to 'em.
