Thank you for the add! You have quite a library...Vernian Process is wonderful and I am very looking forward to seeing more of your other musical projects.. and of course, Post-Punk dot com...I have to say, I wish other sites could have been so fortunate to have been run so well as yours, and escaped the claws of unfortunate hipsterdom.

hey, check out Mike patton. Dr. steel draws a lot of influence from all of his projects. Also, you might (might) like Joanna newsom. She plays very intricate avante garde music on her harp. Or perhaps you'd like 45 grave. I have so many recommendation, I can't make them all here! anywho, have a lovely day, my friend :}

I am familiar with your music - instrumental with much pathos and classical influence, but also monotonous to a degree, if memory serves me right. I'll give it another go - should have it stashed on my other box... Thank you for being so responsive. What do you make of new album of Abney Park, by the way? In pm if you don't want to share your thoughts publicly. I know you're very different, but steampunk scene is somewhat small and young, so all bands in this genre will be known/compared/put together.

Other bands you might find get you thinking that you may not have encountered include Porcupine Tree, especially their earlier, more trance/psychedelia material and their last album, The Incident, Steven Wilson "Insurgentes", Amiina (Icelandic band best known as Sigur Ros's string section, IEM and Bass Communion. There is also a group on last.fm called Music for the Head that has listeners your music might appeal to. More cerebral, and less steampunk/club oriented than your current audience might be. I started life as a prog and electronic music fan in the 70s (King Crimson, tangerine Deam, Pink Floyd, Kratwerk etc). Your music has that match of cleverness, lyricism and beauty that deserves a wider audience. Do you intend a commercial release of "Behold.." If so, I'll try to make time to write and publish a review.

Aye, I am getting the zip of Tears in Rain now (my favourite SF quote of all time, actually.. poor Roy). I went to your site and got everything there, and I spent most of today working in my home office listening to it (www,daysofknights.com.au and www.furiousenui.com are my businesses... the F-E site is still being set up, most of my photographic work is at www.furiousennui.deviantart.com). Your earlier material is more neo-classical. You may enjoy Persistence of Memory (http://www.myspace.com/persisofmem), The Pax Cecilia (http://www.last.fm/music/the+pax+cecilia), Chromakey (Kevin Moore, ex-Dream Theater, http://www.chromakey.com/, especially Graveyard Mountain Home) and George Sarah (http://www.myspace.com/georgesarahmusic) amongst others. I enjoy your eclectic take on traditional music, though I must confess a preference for the more dark ambient style with industrial soundscape textures.

Hey - I read a YouTube comment from you saying that you cleaned up the demos from Little Demons. You said you'd upload them some day. Did that day ever come? If not, do you still have the cleaned up versions, or even a place to find the original versions? Sorry for pestering you, but I just heard 'The Cat Is Dead' and it's awesome.

i'm not entirely sure this is the proper outlet, but i am compelled by forces stronger then i care to question to tell you that your tribute to nobuo uematsu's final fantsasy vii soundtrack is one of the most gorgeous albums i have ever heard. the game and soundtrack are one of the most influential factors in my life, and hearing it redone with such care and precision is truly amazing. thank you so much.

Apparently, the deficiencies you wrote about are inaudible to my untrained ear because I really like the tracks I've already listetned to. I guess "Zeitgeist" is my favourite so far- I like the combination of ticking and the disturbing backgrond motiff. It sounds like something taken out from a thriller or horror :D

Wow, great music! Love your band, the ambient is so sinister and elegant! The funny thing is that i actually met Vernian Process while i was checking out The Last Shadow Puppets' album, you left a shout there and that's how i got into this page... anyway, amazing work, can't wait to listen more! <3
