I downloaded the album 'Brush-fires of the Mind' on her website, but unfortunately I can only open it with the Quicktime Player, so I can´t scrobble the album with the Media Player! :-( If you know the project of Jon Schaffer, you probably know also that with Matt Barlow, right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8N458q2CqQ Iced Earth should finally bring out a new album!!! I like it a lot too. Owens' vocals are stellar, but I feel the guitar is a bit lacking. The awesome rhythm (sp?) guitar Jon has become famous for has been toned down quite a bit.

Amazing charts! Really, really great, love most of the groups I see down there, Kamelot, Blind Guardian, Tarot, Iced Earth etc.. Just great.

I dunno. I think i just have a better ear for some things. Sometimes i'll be comparing mp3s and wmas for my friends, raving about how much different they sound, and they'll just be like, wtf. I can't hear any difference.

You are one lucky man. :P I can't wait for the ep, though. I usually go wmas and get about 1000kbps, but my soundcard allows me to super rip tracks from an album, so i can get wmas with about 3000 kbps! =0 Of course, those tracks take up about 70 mbs of space, haha. I wish SACDs would take off. Lossless audio ftw!

I can't wait for the actual EP to come out. I'm sure these 100 kbps mp3s i have now don't do the songs proper justice.

Yeah, i ahd heard about Matt. To bad he didn't come back to IE. Tim fits them well, but it's said that i'll never get to hear Matt do the older songs at any concerts anymore. The new single is really awesome. I liked the Prophecy better than the original, but the rest of the trilogy was mediocre, imo. AS for the whole EP, you can check out a series of posts i made on the Iced Earth page.
